Couple reliable guys in the other 18 thread say it’s voted on by past 18’s and coach O, as well as some other guys in the program like Jack Marucci. Not their teammates

I asked this in another thread and got no response. Why is Mauck considered the original member of the 18 club? Wasn’t it Hester that “passed” the jersey to Dickson as a joke?

I’ve seen comments by NFL types about players being drafted that wore 18 that it was a sign that they were getting a quality player because of the tradition.

Added benefit of making Lloyd and K'Lavon feel even more motivated to perform and be leaders. Such a cool montage and glad former 18's felt motivated to participate. Shows how strong the fam is.
