Although, be advised, the PTB (Powers That Be) have already dictated that ND win the NC. Unless Bama blows them out, it's already been decided. Kinda like Bama winning tonight. Do you people really think it's just about the teams?

There is nothing good to be gained from Bama winning NCs.

You're right. Why would LSU want a few million dollars more in the SEC payout?

Sure it helps.

The national perception of the SEC is the only reason why we got a title in 2007.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. We started the 2007 ranked #2. That and the 48-7 beatdown of ACC Champ Va Tech are why we got in the game.

The perception of the SEC is why we got stuck playing Alabama agains last year though, so at best it's even.

The "damage" is already done, their winning or losing wouldn't really change that fact. Saying that you played for 3 of the last 4 titles isn't really that different of a recruiting pitch than saying you won 3 of the last 4.

ah, wrong, think it helped FSU to say they were in 3 straight BCS CG

Count me in. I dislike ND, but I pure hate Alabama. Everything from their multiple fabricated National Championships, to their little man coach, to their nauseatingly annoying fans.

F-ck the sting of SEC championships. I hope they get blown out.

 The winner does not get a bigger share and the BCS CG pays the SAME as the other BCS bowls. If no SEC teams where in the BCS CG, the SEC would still get the same amount as we did last year.

I hate them both.

Probably hate Bama more.

I will watch just to see if they will ever call a holding penalty on the gumps. The "chosen team" this year seems to be ND. Would be amusing to see if Bama can overcome the ref bias they normally benefit from.

I think the SEC has shown enough dominance that dropping this one will not diminish it. In fact, it sets up the stage perfectly for the talking heads to proclaim that "the SEC dominance has ENDED" and then for LSU to reclaim it next year. (homer).
