That was a horrible day.

Oct 9, 1993.

Spurrier ran up the score.

Coach O should show the game highlights to the team...

Florida's trash forever.

I want us to trounce them similarly

Tell me about it. I was in Tiger Band. You can’t leave when it’s 58-3 and you’re in the band. There were 2 marching bands and about 200 people left in the stadium when the game ended. Even the UF fans got bored and left.

That will make you into a real fan.

I was there in ‘89 (I believe was the year) and the score was similar. It was pouring rain and Emmitt Smith ran for about 850 yds. Miserable

I was at that game. Was in the student section.... man how my college days in TS sucked....

But, I was there in ‘97 to see us beat #1 UF and was able to join in And rush the field.

We are L.....S.....U..... We are NOT Florida. Let's not bring ourselves down to their gator-swamp infested level. I think taking a knee late in 4th qtr a few times will be damage enough to bring the Gators back to reality. However, I welcome a 42-10 victory or something similar. Florida is a GREAT rival. Let's enjoy the game. Geaux Tigers!

Yes, I shall never forget the utter humiliation of that loss. To this day, I have yet to see any QB shred LSU the way Danny Woerful did that day. He was unconscious the way he was putting the ball in spots where only the UF receiver could catch the ball. LSU had perfect coverage several times and Woerful dropped the pass in perfectly. I shall never forget. The only other loss I remember as being as painful was the 44-3 loss to Steve Walsh and Miami in Tiger Stadium in a driving rain storm.

I was there until the end, soaking in all the misery. It made the 1997 win all the sweeter.

This will be an epiphany for LSU football. The team will have second thoughts the next time they contemplate wearing the gold/purple/gold uniform choice.

Well, this year we get a gimpy Kyle Trask. And the first time we sack him, he will be limping his way to the locker room for ex-rays.

Hopefully he stays in there limping, not wanting the D to have to switch to a complete opposite type of QB

I was 11 and I still remember that shite. For whatever reason though, I still respect Florida. Doesn't mean I don't want to beat the shite out of them every season.

It is just that I look at their roster and every season other than Alabama I feel like they are the deepest with talent that we play.

I can honestly say, with 100% truth and no doubt, that that game was the only LSU football game I have ever left before the clocks hit 0:00. The group I was with left after the 3rd quarter and didn't look back.
