He went on to elaborate about their weak schedules..totally changed my opinion

I have always liked Gary but he works with a complete idiot. Gary knows his shite about football and I like to hear him call a game because he explains exactly what is going on and he sees it way before we do and he points it out.

If Gary wasn't in that press box there would absolutely be no football knowledge during the broadcast.
He gets on my nerves at times, but you can tell he definitely knows the game.

danielson has always been one of my favorites as is greg bowser. I remember danielson saying in a interview on espn (van pelt?), that he would like his kid to play for someone like les miles.

Glad to see this thread. Gary D knows his football and calls it like it is. This is particularly noticeable when you FF through a recorded game and watch just the plays--immediately GD will say something cogent about the play. Vern needs a Depends and a warm glass of milk.

Danielson is awesome I love listening to his commentating during the game cause he knows his stuff. Verne has a classic voice for sports but he doesn't seem to have a clue whats going on.
Needless to say I like the CBS broadcasts.

I think he was talking about the obseession people have with them and therefore voting for them and ranking them higher than their schedule shows.

I've never gotten that from him on CST. But you are so I guess you can spot em.
But that's not why I don't like him. I don't like him because he says something that's blatantly wrong almost every possession and he mixes up college and NFL rules way too much.
