Crap. I don't know how the team will handle this one. How much does it change the game plan now that we have to rotate only 4 RB's instead of 5! Will fatigue be a factor!
Please tell me you're being sarcastic.

It can take some time figuring out how bad an injury truly is.

Because Blue has not taken a redshirt, he would not lose a season of eligibility if qualifies for a medical hardship. I believe he qualifies, since the injury occurred in the third game against Idaho. Blue might not use four years of eligibility anyway, but it is still good to know he could have two years left.

Is this really news? You could easily pick up on this by reading Les' behavior. We have effectively known this since the week after the injury.

Just to be clear, this really sucks for Blue. It shouldn't matter at all to LSU.
We have lots of depth at running back for sure, but Blue was also an excellent blocker. As we saw last week, we need a back that knows who to block and how to block. Ware is really good at that too, but Blue will be missed for that reason.

That sucks, obviously.
I wish Blue the best.

Honestly, I always thought Hilliard was the better RB. And seems To be able to stay healthy as well. Something blue is not capable of doing... Wasn't he hurt in 2010 and took a redshirt?
