Too much politics in sports. There’s no way she shouldn’t be in the wnba

What does Morris being better than HVL have to do with Morris being in the WNBA. Last I check HVL isn’t in the WNBA.

It doesn’t always have to be one versus the other in everything people. Give Hailey a little grace man. She just joined the team and is transitioning her role to point guard. My goodness you people judge harshly. I love Alexis Morris, but this is too early and not fair to compare one versus the other at this point anyway.

Guys calm down. Hailey will be fine. Remember Alexis was trying to find her way around this time last year as well.........................................

Game three last season..............

The transition from shooting guard to point guard is not as easy as you think

Morris was a great defender when she wanted to be. HVL is too slow to be a great defender and takes too chances on steals.

Look I can count on one hand the number of minutes of women's basketball that I've watched but some of yall make these kind of statements every year in every sport. There is absolutely no reason to have a definitive opinion on any player at this point in the season. Players get better, especially college athletes who are still developing, and especially Transfers who need time to gel with their new team. It's okay to just shut the frick up and wait a couple months before drawing conclusions. You don't have to have an opinion in November

The WNBA rosters are already 'decided'. They dont really need new players - unless the incoming player is a generational talent like Seimone or Bird or Fowles or Taurasi they're not breaking into the team. The WNBA draft is just to generate an artificial hype.

This does not take anything away from Morris. She was an amazing player and the way she went on a tear in the finals will be one for the ages. Maybe she'll end up playing in the European pro leagues and gets a chance to land in the WNBA in the future.

Morris in the playoffs was not the same Morris who played most of the season, especially early on. She struggled early & it's hard to say Hailey is struggling; she is just playing with a whole new group of players, each with her own persona. Let it play out as is till conference starts. CKM will know by then who plays where / how much.

What the heck does this even mean? Do you think Politics is the reason Morris is not in the WNBA?

Do you think politics will mean HVL will be there while Morris is not?

This is the correct answer and I am a huge morris fan but HVL is out of position! She may get better at it as the year passes Morris was a pure point and a scorer
