Bullpens will be moved off the field and field level seating will be added in time for 2025 season. Only planned upgrades I am aware of at the moment.

It was mentioned few months ago...the new capacity will be 15k. The outfield bleachers will be extended due to the bullpens

If they actually expand seating that much, I hope they make them GA seats.

I have season tickets, but the SRO tickets under the concourse are obviously a big draw. It would be a shame if they stopped selling those to charge more for shitty seats either deep in the outfield or deep in the corners.

If they don’t get rid of bleacher seating & make something “fan friendly” in Center/RF, it’s a failed renovation

Lol that’s not even close. Most of us have zero chance of getting tickets anyway with all of the grandfathering in And limited seating. They will be sold instantly.

In to add in that left field bleachers are STILL the same bleachers from the old Box. Source, Me. I seent it. Remember when "it'll never be ready in time" circa 2008/2009? Yeah, because they had to take shortcuts and use the old bleachers and 15 years later... Still there

Premier facility my arse

Edit to add that 65% of my bitterness is because you can guess where my seats are. The remaining 35% is because

GA/Standing room only seating would be amazing at the field level. Those big SEC games and regionals/supers would be a mad house.

What does this even mean? They need space in the outfield for the bullpens so they are adding more bleaches out there? That makes no sense.

Maybe built into revit? Who knows

Also what dude is gonna wear a full on sportscoat and conduct business in the heat down the first base line? Just show a regular fan, 5’6” 250 lbs eating concessions and complaining that lsu baseball isnt undefeated

What it means is if they move the bullpens to the left and right of the batters eye (which is what my assumption is), then they'd build elevated seats behind them. Currently, there's nothing to the left and right of the batters eye. Additionally, I'd think if they're going to do a reno, they'll rework the entirety of the outfield seating and all the existing bleachers will go in a trash can. I don't think Jay will agree to do the cheapest thing possible like Skip did

Maybe for midweek games and dud weekends, but high ranking SEC series and the post season will be rockin! I've always said LSU needed to figure out a way to cram 20k in there for regional play.
