Alex Box outfield Improvements???

It's sad to say, but LSU really went on the Cheap with Alex Box.

They could have made it right for ALL Fans, not just the luxury Suites. When you look also the Grandstands could be better designed. At LSU we have a great atmosphere, but I would rank half the SEC parks over Alex Box aesthetically. The whole Stadium needs Upgrades. The baselines & the bleachers in right & left field are just that—bleachers. Most fans who have been to other stadiums can easily see what I'm talking about.

Thank Pawl and all his lovers for LSU falling behind in the arms race. Congrats guys 1 ship with smokes players then small ball for a decade that couldn’t bunt or run bases. Then he admits he’s been lazy and will get right on top of it. Hence LSU is a decade behind everyone else facility wise

I guess I am the only one who likes the bullpens in the field of play. It really isint dangerous. 1 player hurt in the last 8 years, and it was on a bench, not a mound. I like the fact that the players in the pen are still
connected to the game, not messing around behind a fence or playing on their phones because coach can’t see them. I say bring all bullpens back to where they belong, down the foul lines.

Do you think there isn’t a coach in those bullpens?

Also usually in college all the players are still in the dugout and go to the bullpen when it is time to get ready.

Tuned in to the Miss State game the other night, wow we are behind big time as far as stadiums go. The atmosphere at the game appeared to be incredible.

It doesn’t matter what they do to the Box, we aren’t consistently getting atmospheres like that unless it’s a post season game.

This isn’t true. I am willing to bet when Tennessee comes to town the Box will be rockin.

I too am also fine with the bullpens remaining where they are along the foul lines. I agree that the danger aspect of this location is overblown and prefer the fans to be able to interact and be able to tiger bait opposing relievers when things get rowdy in conference and post season play.

I would much prefer seeing the funding allocated to install chairbacks at least down the foul lines. Also extending the concourse to the foul poles could not only provide additional SRO potential and easier access to all parts of the stadium, but also additional loge seating space not to mention the foundation for extending the premium box suites at some point in the future. The extended concourse also would add much needed covered areas where fans could seek shade underneath in the springtime heat and shelter from those pesky thunderstorms, so everyone is not all crammed in at the grandstand when inclement weather interrupts play.

Point being, look at the atmosphere Mississippi St had against Arizona St. Or the weekend before against some team called VMI. You aren't getting that here.

Not saying the Box can't be great, but it won't be what Mississippi St has.

It should have been done years ago. No excuse that it wasn't.

You don't have to sit on the ground. You bring in lawn chairs.

Knowing LSU, they would probably force you to buy some type of pass and pay per game to rent a chair from them.

The fact the box is easily not a top 5 fan experience is sad.

It’s top of the line for players but it’s closer to out of the top 10 than being a top fan experience.

Where and how exactly? I don't think LSU would be willing to sacrifice seating.
