Yep. There's no Auburn to compete with in La. The state of Alabama HS bluechips is historically weak compared to other southern states and then you are fighting an in-state SEC rival for the very few of them. 75%+ prospects in their classes annually come from neighboring states or national locations.

If Saban stays at LSU we have 10 NCs since 2003. Period. And everyone is talking about LSU like it does Bama. LSU can be just as successful with the right coach. Kiffin doesn’t have a dream school, IMO. He has a program type - he’s spoke about it many times. And LSU is one of them. If he wins 2 NCs at LSU he’s considered the most successful coach in LSU history. If he wins 5 at AL he’s the third most successful.

Kiffin might go anywhere. Loyalty isn't his strongest quality. I hope he's successful and stays at LSU because the last thing LSU needs is to be paying four coaches at one time - new coach, Kiffin, CBK and O.

I don't care. If Lane sucks here in the next 2 years, we'll want him gone. If he is rolling and getting close to a title, then we can see what happens.
