From LSU's perspective you can't stop everything. You have to stop the running backs first and prevent the long pass play to Ridley. Hurts will get loose on a few scrambles and designed runs but he WON'T beat LSU by himself. Alabama doesn't want Hurts taking hits all night they will only run him enough to keep the defense honest. I say sell out to stop the RB's and don't change this plan.

Aranda cements his reputation as the top DC in the NCAA this weekend vs Bama. We will out play the Tide on that side of the ball. He likely gets tapped for a 2017 HC opportunity because of it and we wave "goodbye".
I like us to mount a more balanced attack than OM and sustain drives and TOP, but it is going to be a fight, regardless. I think our defense is the difference and we show them up on this big stage, but all things considered, this game is the proverbial "toss up".

No smoke, brah, just straight talk. Ridley isn't better than Chark or Dural. Some on here may think that, but we'll see when they get in the pros.
