People are jaded from 2011 and 2017...and not seeing clearly.

Every year is different.

If the comittee votes Bama as number one then we know it will only be due to bias. They have one of the worst resumes of any ranked team. You can only rely so much on the eye test to evaluate teams.

If you actually decently weigh resume in your evaluation here is what the top 10 should be:

1. Notre Dame
2. Michigan
3. LSU
4. Georgia
5. Alabama
6. Clemson
7. Kentucky
8. Ohio State
9. Washington State
10. Oklahoma

Well it would be based on record and margin of victory

Could you imagine if LSU already had 4 losses, like many predicted? We are going to be the only team on their schedule with a pulse. They should be thanking us...right before we beat them.

It’s great that Bama plays number 5 LSU. It will really pad their schedule
strength ranking when they roll right on over the Tigers next weekend. They don’t need UCF “claiming” another bogus split title. Thanks Baws.

Are you going to be the lone Bama troll this week, or are your friends going to join you soon?

Eta- never mind, there's another

We are legion. Seriously, it wouldn’t be as fun without a bit of back and forth. The Negatigers dropped off, y’all need some grounding.

Bama opponent win percentage is right in between 45-46 percent... that's awful considering most of those wins come from group of 5 opponents in their conferences.

What do you know about negatigers, being that you've only been registered for 3 days?

I did my homework and read back 100 pages... made me miss Les Miles to be honest. But seriously, you got a guy above with a “serious” list ranking Notre Dame #1. I can see you Don’t need Bama trolls when the space under the bridge is already crowded with tigers.

If we beat them, they’ll drop to number one.

If we win... big arse if... Bama can win out the rest and will make the CFP. We lose to Georgia in the SECCG we get the Outback bowl.

Our best win. Uga obviously
Miami and auburn suck.
Florida was a bad loss.
Florida lost to a crappy kentucky team ( I know their record)
Our Florida loss doesn’t look too good now.
Bama has had an easy schedule, but all their games have been over in 10 minutes.

Update

The conference record of the power 5 opponents that Alabama has played to date - 5-23, or a 17.8% win pct

Louisville (0-5)
Tenn (1-4)
Mizzou (0-4)
TAMU (3-2)
Ole MISS (1-3)
Arkansas (0-5)

Will post update in the OP

They are Bama they will get pumped up and stay in the top 4. Everyone of the committee will still want them in. Sucks but true.

I agree their schedule is soft, but does anyone think that we would be averaging 50+ per game with that same schedule? I don’t. Probably be undefeated, but not by blowing the absolute doors off of everyone we played.

I think we have a real shot, but Bama is really good regardless of who they have played.
