I'll tell you one thing...watching that clip of Tua on the home page tells me that we'd be better off if he does play. He looks super tentative and is still favoring it pretty heavily. I don't think he plays.

I think both fanbases would be happy if their team won and the loser of this game doesn’t get a mulligan. They don’t want to play this game twice any more than we do.

You're looking at it wrong.
They want us at full strength so they have a stronger argument for the committee when we beat them. Bama wants to sneak in again with this being their argument. We weren't full strength but hung with a very healthy #1.
