couple bad passes for sure, but honestly, hadn't played hardly any all year...I don't know his past stats and am not looking, but I think he has thrown like 15 or 20 TDs, maybe more, as a starting SEC QB...he had SOME potential to complete a pass.

Stop it Brandon Harris was dreadful

I don’t disagree with that. My point was your Swan/Harris comparison is a bad one. Should have just left it at Clausen. Harris didn’t have a great career at LSU by any means, but had flashes here and there. Swan on the other hand is a complete bum.

He threw a grand total of 4 passes at LSU. That’s hardly a basis to form any judgments. His stats at Vandy were actually very similar to Harris’ at LSU. He completed 56% of his passes, had a 22/9 TD/INT ratio, 7 YPA, and a 128 passer rating. In 2015, Harris had a 54% completion %, 13/6 TD/IINT, 7.8 YPA, and a passer rating of 130.6.

I guess, if you were an alien and you came to Earth and were only able to judge the two players by completion percentage and passer rating, then I guess it’s a really great comparison! Unfortunately, comparison quickly falls apart once said alien scrolls down to the rushing stat line and sees Swan had a whopping -60 yards rushing, -3.5 ypa, 1 td and realize the guy has two left legs but I digress..

So you think Harris’ 19 yards per game rushing were the difference between being “a guy who showed flashes” and being a “bum”?

19 yards verses -3? Yes, I would say that’s a pretty significant difference.

Not to mention Harris played in a prehistoric offense, led by a guy that was practically a Neanderthal. It’s actually amazing Harris had any success at all.

Again, I'll say it was just a poor comparison. But if that’s the hill you want to die on, go right ahead.
