I don’t see why the rant is freaking out about him. Did he have the first string Oline in front him? He had a ton of pressure on him. When I first saw the stats I was like damn that’s not good, but after watching highlights he did not play bad. He was under pressure on damn near every pass.

He threw some bad passes but also probably some of the best thrown balls as well.

He was getting pressured pretty consistently.

Was he playing behind the first or second string O-Line. Also, was he facing the 1st string defense?

It would not surprise me if coach o put him behind the 2nd string o-line and against the first string defense.

I actually saw 2 bad balls. INT and over throw in endzone. Everything else was a safe incomplete pass due to pressure.

I think JM and LN had far more badly thrown balls.

It’s still early. I just don’t have much faith in this staff to develop a clear starter. We could get to Labor Day weekend with the same QB questions. That won’t bode well.

The best thing he can do between now and August is go to the Sonic every night at 10 pm and get an an 8-piece Mozzarella sticks and a large Master Blast in the flavor of his choice. And while he's there, have a good fist fight once a week to toughen him up.

I just don't understand how we can never get a 5 star QB. Hell even Mississippi St got Prescott. How come WE can't get a QB worth a damn? Im surprised 5 star ball catchers still even commit here.

Prescott was a 3 star I believe.

ETA: And I'd say we do and have always gotten talented QB recruits. We've always failed in developing them. All of our QB's the past 10-12 years have been highly recruited and had offers from other big time programs with the exception of maybe Etling out of Purdue.

None of this would be hard to figure out, but he played with both teams

A simple answer is that LA produces very few of that caliber. And Prescott was not close to a five star.

Ssshhhh
He sucks, whoever the backup is certainly is better.

Hell half people on this board think they could coach offense and defense and recruit better than whos on staff now.
Special breed of stupid that resides here.

I don't understand how throwing the forward pass is just an extremely difficult task for LSU qbs. A team doesn't have to have a 5 star qb to be able throw, they have to have the right coaching. We lack coaching in the passing game and have lacked it for years now. It remains to be seen if it will change this year but I highly doubt it.

I don't agree that McMillan and Narcisse had more "badly" thrown balls. All of the passes to the middle of the field were really well defended. I think Myles' strength is throwing in between the hashes. He makes very accurate strong passes.

I will agree that he definitely played well. All of the QBs were under pressure. McMillan made the most plays under pressure. Narcisse and Brennan are still adjusting to the speed of the game.

I enjoyed that we really aired it out during the game. Every QB made plays that were frustrating, but they all made plays I was excited about too.

I don't really know what sort of product we're going to roll out in September, but I think we'll see some more plays in the passing game and that's exciting.

All three QBs rotated for both white and purple teams. So you can pretty well compare the three
