Right now, I think we lose @ Oxford, @ Alabama, and 1 more game along the way.

Your on crack! If that is the offense we run this year 3 losses minimum. Miss St, just like the rest of us, were fooled by Miles's BS once again this game. We actually believed Miles when he said we would see a more balanced attack. In fact it was actually less balanced. And once MSU figured that out after the 1st qtr they effectively shut us down after that except for the TD drive in the 3rd qtr.

If anyone feels that we can win the west with that kind of offensive game plan, you are dead wrong. Satan will stop us, Muschamp will stop us, Chavis will stop us and Ole Miss will out score us. I really want to believe in Miles but he keeps BS's the hell out of us. He will not fool the boys I just named though, they are gong to stack the box just like MSU did after the 1st qtr and dare Miles to beat them in the Air. Same ole shite just a different year.

Everyone forgets we threw to a TE. To me it seemed that Miles was trying to run the clock down, get the W and get out of there.

No matter win or lose the rant will rant. I saw alot of good things last night and some frustrating things that for the most part are easily correctable. Give State credit for fighting it out when we were really putting it to them. They made adjustments and made the game competitive when it was not. It was a good thing for this young team to have to dig deep to stop the comeback in a hostile enviroment. It will serve them well. I got us losing to Ole Miss for now. I don't want to admit another loss to Bama but it's possible.

I'll be generous and say just 4 loses. Nothing I saw last night makes me think Miles will take his hand off the offense enough to play with the big boys.

1 loss, maybe 2. Undefeated would not surprise me, other than it takes a lot of things going right to not slip up once.

Negative Nancy's are being way too over-reactive. We just opened our season on the road, against a conference team that has already played a game. Name the last time that happened (hint- you won't like the results). If you go by the "most improvement happens between game 1 and game 2" rule, you'll relax a little and accept the following- the offense should be a lot smoother at home vs Auburn next week, and we really played well vs State all things considered.

I saw nothing that leads me to believe this team is going to have a bad year.

7-4 maybe8-3. Miles will wins few that he shouldn't. He is a lucky knucklehead.

Amazes me that nobody even entertains the possibility of A&M being a loss

MSU left more questions more answers. We showed flashes of brilliance but also a lot of problems to work on. How the coaches and players respond this week will be huge. We'll have a much better idea after Auburn.

Good levelheaded post. After reading all the negative "the sky is falling" posts since the end of the game last night, it's refreshing to read something positive.

Two losses max. I still think we split Bama and OM, but let's see how we improve

The mating call of the pumpers. We were going to "be fine" last year, and we sucked.

It's not unreasonable to expect an elite team when it's as loaded with talent as LSU is. Les would be struggling to get bowl eligible at any other school.

8-3 unless CLM decides to not only start let him play QB like he did early last night
