After looking at the schedule for like the 9th time, this’ll be a different year…

Whereas auburn and florida are usually tougher tests, Mississippi state (return Rogers and about 70% of starters aka great cohesion), Tennessee (mature team with great QB), and ole miss (dynamic offense with best SEC RB and improved defense) will probably be tougher tests this year. Mississippi state in week 3 and Tennessee in week 6 are our most important games in my opinion. Lesser teams play differently when they know this is the best they’ll be for a while…

State could be tricky depending on our secondary. We will beat the Hillbillies.

Just spoke with a Florida friend, he was saying almost the same thing. They are much more worried about Kentucky and Tennessee on the road than a weak LSU team this year.

Seems everyone will be at least in a NY6 game this year.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Jahmyr Gibbs is the best RB in the SEC.

Fair enough. State will be tough, but I think Tennessee is such a well-oiled machine. They return almost their entire o-line, good skill guys, fundamentally sound defense, and obviously that QB is a stud. Probably a 2nd rounder if I had to put my money on it. Luckily we’ll fold auburn/florida this year though.

Gibbs is a stud (definitely a top 2 rounder), but he won’t get the same touches as Zach because of the talent at Alabama. At the same time Alabama has the better o-line so we’ll see.

Bama will win the SEC, and probably not lose a game going into the CFP. Not a shocker. They have a ton of returning talent and depth in their front 7 on defense, and Bryce Young is back.

If we lose to State it'll be a long arse season. I think we beat Tennessee.

I mean state is a top 25 team in my opinion so losing to them wouldn’t be the end of the world. Definitely one of our harder games…

I'd say FSU is more important than any of those SEC games because it sets the tone for the entire season. shite the bed there and your season is effectively over because it's going to be hard to try to convince players otherwise even with an entire SEC schedule to go through.

There's a reason Vegas had LSU at 5 now 6 wins. The season is going to be brutal with that stretch of SEC games. Would be a miracle to have it all together by then even with a good coach like BK.

Yeah I just honestly don’t think that we’ll have much trouble with FSU…we’ll open it up in the 3rd quarter.
