Are you kidding me? We have a gimme game to work on a non-existent passing game, and instead the players take the week off to play around in practice. If you can't figure out the problem with this, then the rant has lost its edge. That's embarrassing.

Anyone who has ever played on a good athletic team has joked around in practice leading up to a cupcake game.

ETA: And what happened to LSU on Saturday probably happened to them a time or two. Yeah, these guys are elite football players, but they still take certain opponents lightly and can have bad games, just like not so athletically gifted players.

True, and it's amazing how difficult it is to turn on the focus when the cupcake surprises you early in the game. Hopefully this was a wakeup call.
