Advice for LSU vs Texas game! Traveling from Pittsburgh

Hey everyone… checking off bucket list by making the drive from Pittsburgh to LSU for the Texas game. Looking for advice on parking/tailgating/and tickets for some crazy girls from Pittsburgh

Maybe some people here will invite you to their tailgate for some food. Or wonder around and somebody will offer some food.
Don't go into the stadium too early, go to victory hill and watch the band come down the hill. You need to experience that if you are coming all the way from PA.

Y'all better have a good chunk of money to get tickets this late unless you're willing to wait until the last minute and possibly not make it in the stadium.

parking- Unless there is someone in your group that doesn't drink, uber to campus if your hotel is in Baton Rouge. Go to Walk Ons after the game and wait for traffic to die down before attempting to uber back
tailgating- get dropped off around the parade grounds and start slowly walking towards the stadium. You will get invited to join people, especially if you have a shirt or something saying it is your first LSU game
tickets- seatgeek. north endzone for best atmosphere

Where are yall staying. Baton Rouge vs New Orleans (?) Come to game early, wear you purple and gold. And tailgates will be open.

There is pay by the game parking around Walk-Ons. Free parking close to the river. Seat Geek is the official site for resale, so tickets there are legit.

Chimes opens at 10 on gameday. Get there early as possible.
