With Devin White you probably get a more positive impact on every play. Choosing an offensive lineman, tho a good thought (and u get credit), won't get you an improvement every play, just the play that original OL screwed up. And that is fewer than you believe. Maybe being J Chase in place of Boutee would be as positive also.

Now that Maason Smith is out, and assuming no QBs (because I would add Bert Jones and he would go on to be the #1 overall pick), Glen Dorsey would be my pick. We need a penetrating lineman badly.
Patrick Peterson probably would have been my first non-QB pick had you not picked him. The ability to erase the best receiver on every team we play would be huge in most of our matchups. It wouldn’t help against the best teams, because we still would not be able to man up with them, but for about 5 or 6 games it would be handy.

I actually scrolled through this whole list just to find Doug Planchard. Was he a guard? Was he a TE? Was he a kickoff team specialist? No one really knows, but that dude could stand on a bench and wave a towel like a boss.
