I suspect each of the three QBs will have days where they get the most reps with the "first team". There are no preseason games, so that is the best way the staff can evaluate them in practice. Thus, it shouldn't be a surprise if Brennan gets "most of the 1st team reps" tomorrow...and Nussmeier the next day.

If this was reported on, say, August 25th, it might mean more. Today? Not that big of a deal.

What about people constantly saying Daniels isn’t accurate while he has a higher completion percentage than Brennan?

I mean Daniels is the only guy who the coaching staff is trying to change the mechanics of to make him more accurate.

Maybe the coaching staff is racist too.

I mean, he threw 10TD/10Ints last year in the Pac where they don't play defense. Not exactly ball security.

no, you get the frick out. Herb Tyler and Rohan are very beloved by Tiger fans. Until Joe came around, Ro was my all time favorite.

They’ll let the 2 best get reps with the ones until one of them separates themself.

Isn't Jeremy Hill "the media" now?

Or do they let former players stay?

His qb rating has decreased every single year. He had 10 tds and 10 pics against pac-12 defenses as a junior. He transfers to LSU and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn in the spring game. Yes we know exactly what he have. A player that has regressed every single year against inferior competition.

Covid year, the PAC was a mess. They played like 4 non consecutive no crowd games. Then last year that team was falling apart. His production declined but their offensive game plan was god awful. He rushed for like 750 yards last season as well, one can’t just discount that.

It actually did... the opposite.

Daniels from 2019-2021
QBR: 64.4, 87.1, 67.2
Completion %: 62.3, 58.3, 66.4

Brennan from 2017-2020 (excluding 2018):
QBR:45.0, 56.8, 60.3
Completion %: 58.3, 61.1, 63.6

2021 was not a covid year, that was 2020. When crowds were allowed he threw 10 pics. Sec crowds are bigger, louder, more intimidating. If he is the best we have he starts, that's it. But you saying people don't like him because he is black, that's some racist shite coming from your mouth. Before JoeyB, my favorite Qb of all time was Herb Tyler. I guess I am racist now because a white guy now tops that list. You want to die on this hill? Fine. But it's a stupid hill to die on. Everybody wants the best players to play. We want to win. We hate what 2020 and 2021 looked like. So just stop with racist arse narrative.

His qb rating has declined every year. Link to Daniels stats is below. From 149 down to 136.

Prior to last season his TD/int was 22/3. I’m willing to bet last season was the outlier

This isn’t true. If kyren Lacey could catch people would be singing a completely different tune. Kyren dropped several well placed passes from Jayden. Jayden had that absolute dime to BTJ as well

Jeremy Hill said the key words, "if he doesn't turn the ball over".

At the end of fall camp the QB that values the ball the most will end up starting...as it should be. Turnovers is probably the biggest stat at every level of football and every player that touches the ball needs to put a very high importance on not turning the ball over.
