What about people constantly saying Daniels isn’t accurate while he has a higher completion percentage than Brennan? What about people saying he can’t read a defense? Daniels lit Oregon(a top team in the country) up. But he can’t read a defense? Why is that and a less accomplished guy like Brennan can?

Everybody loved Jamarcus

Not here they didn't. He had plenty detractors saying he was dumb and inaccurate even when completing 68% of his passes.

He is out of his league? Why so? Not accurate? Higher completion percentage than Brennan who played with, Terrace Marshall, Arik Gilbert, Kayshon Boutte, against Mizzou, Vandy, and Miss state?

Lol he’s so wildly inaccurate that he has a higher career completion percentage than Myles. Y’all are using the spring game instead of the 30+ career starts to base his accuracy off of. He’s definitely not Joe burrow level accurate, but a 62% career completion percentage is not “wildly inaccurate”

Here we go...

Took less than a week, and posters are already playing the race card in the QB competition. I don't understand why race always comes up. The best player will play, and if performs well they will be supported, regardless of race. Obviously, the coaches don't care. It seems the only posters that bring it up are from one side of the discussion.

I think a lot of us have viewed Daniels as an after thought because we don’t know him very well and he has had ups and downs. He is obviously the best choice as agility and speed goes, if his passing impresses coaches in camp I could definitely see him as the starter.

Maybe, just maybe, he was assigned more reps because he needs the extra work because he isn't where the coaching staff wants him to be?

There are a lot of people on this board that suffer from Myles Brennan derangement syndrome. Nuss is going to start so it really doesn't even matter, but the fact still remains - Daniels is a more accurate passer than Myles

Negative wishcasting SMH. Not something a REAL Tiger fan would do.

Didn’t the coaches themselves allude to this during the spring? Bad footwork generally means accuracy issues.

I agree with you. I suppose he meant his career. We don’t know how accurate they look lately. Unless he really is connected which seems unlikely.

I like not being attached to any particular QB. I want whoever gets the starting job to start to earn it.

People are basing Daniels not starting because he did not look good in the spring game. He could have improved significantly since then but that would have to be a big jump in what 3 months? It’s possible I guess. If he’s the best over the next 3 weeks then he starts.

He is mobile and protects the ball generally. We know what we have from him more than anyone else.

Kid has a big arm, great touch on the deep ball, and his open field speed is elite for a QB. Really hard to not roll with a player who is that dynamic.
