No bowl for LSU next year

You are in for a rude awakening. 9-3 at a minimum is our record next year

We losing several good Seniors and prob several good Juniors. Rebuilding year of sorts . 8-4, 9-3 would be ok

Acceptable isn't the word I'd use, but at best this team goes 8-4. When will they ever put together a 10-win season? Probably not for a long time.

We were sold on continuity.
It has to be 10-2 or better.

Regardless of who the coach was/is this is a rebuilding year.
You can't lose
Beckwith
Riley
White
Adams
Godchaux
Neal
Bower
D. Thomas
Boutte
Pocic
Fournette
Dural
Dupree
D. Smith
And not expect to regress some. I expect LSU opens the season ranked around 15 and finishes around there with a 8-4 or 9-3 regular season. With that said if he goes 7-5 or worse then things get very ugly quickly.

Don't forget to account for our yearly cancellation. With that said, 8-3.

9-3 at a minimum. It's a ridiculously soft schedule.
8-4 or worse and we lost to at least one tomato can. 9-3 means we were mediocre and lost to good teams while beating bad teams. We could have kept CLM if we wanted that.

10-2.
You don't fire Miles and hire you DL coach to start a rebuilding process. Presumably you're replacing your longtime coach to get better immediately.
Looking at the schedule, Bama looks to be the only incredibly difficult road game. Florida will be tough, but I think LSU is equal or better than them talent-wise. Probably the same for Ole Miss. Tenn. is a crapshoot as they lose some pretty key players. AU, A&M, Ark are here.
LSU will have a Sr. QB; an experienced OL; good WRs and an All American candidate at RB.
Defense will have to fill more holes, but I think the DL will be as good as it has been in 5 years. That will make everyone behind them much better.
O's honeymoon was this season. It's time to start competing for championships immediately. The cupboard here is far from bare

Nah, just for next year. We lose a lot of talent and have a tremendously tough road schedule. If 8-4 becomes the norm, we'll be looking for a new coach in a couple years. However, next year is going to be tough and we lose leadership and alot of talent.
