It's also interesting that he threw a pick 6 in all these games except Bama last year.

Maybe you didnt grasp the point of the thread???

JLee came back and scored on the next series, after a pick 6, against those teams. Against BCS champ Fla, he scored one TD in :40, then came back after the half to drive down for a second one.

I just think writing JJ off and handing over the job to JL is stupid which is what the majority of this forum is doing. It's no different than everyone jumping on Lee when he plays bad, yet many seem willing to give him infinite opportunities.

Do Crowton or Miles know how to recruit a SEC caliber QB to this team or not?

Not me. I'm giving him just one more chance. If he fricks up just once with a back-breaking pick-6, he's history. I've had it up to here.

I wish CG was given a legit shot as well. Doesn't appear that was the case.

If it was decided by the spring game.. Lee by a mile. We've got all fall for them to keep improving.

We have two 4*s and another highly touted RSF what else are they supposed to do?

I have always like JJ but at this pint in his career he should be light years a head of JL and CG. I think it says something about him and not the coaches. JJ has a problem between his ears just like JL, Lee is not scared to sling it and gets in trouble with the INTs and JJ is just scared to get rid of the ball.

I'm not real confident in either for our QB.

After watching each play of the spring game, i would, although reluctantly, start JL. At this time, he does give the offense the best chance at a passing game.

"its just a spring game" leads to "its just one game" to "its just one season"...

no matter how you spin it, LSU is fricked at QB.

Abysmal is a very appropriate description of our passing game. Exact word used to summarize the passing game and QBs in some post game discussions.
My 8 yr old even said that #14 was the only decent QB on the field and Garrett did nothing overly spectacular.
If today was any indication of what is going to happen in the fall, the QB play will SUCK again. It would be absolutely unacceptable play for 3 years in a Row = time to fire Miles and Crowton. Pathetic.

I will agree that the qb play today was not very sharp but look a little deeper. There were a LOT of well thrown balls dropped today 2 by sheppard, 2 or 3 by Randel, 2 by ford and a few more just off the top of my head. The receivers didn't help the qbs out today. Lees pass on the pic was just an awful high throw it needed to be gunned pad high. Loston did make a great read and play on the ball.

Espn dogged our d line as being undersized but the stupid shits never realized drake Nevis and Josh downs were basically out the entire game, I think downs played a series?

So all of spring practice performances should be ignored because of today and fall practice is cancelled. Interesting developments.

And JJs was supposedly during a "game on the line" 2-minute drill, FWIW.

It was a tipped ball...not a bad read or a bad decision or a ball that was thrown out of rhythm.

I don't think anyone should make too much out of a spring game...but I'll be damned if Jarrett Lee didn't throw another pick 6. It's amazing.

Right. Our coaches are so f--king stupid that they could not figure out how to get Russell Shepherd one freaking pass last year. In the meantime, our offense plain out sucked. It was an embarassment.

the coaches have ESP, and know JJ will get better?

JL cannot qb this team. Don't even think he can play. Aleast JJ can run.
