Is that why he had zero yds rushing?

Wrong, I missed the first half of the first quarter but during the second quarter he had a rush for 15 yards that could have went farther if not for the touch rule.

I still think it was painfully obvious that JL is more ready to be a qb,although both are severely lacking.

how did the offense do in the 2 games JJ played in 2008? It was a different team

We are going to have to live with the fact that Lee is a gunslinger, and will make critical mistakes. He will also move the offense.

JJ will make few mistakes, but after an entire year of stats, its clear he wont move the offense.

Even with animproved defense and OLine, we lose 4 to 6 games with JJ. We could do the same with Lee. However, he has proven the ability to pull off an Auburn, So. Car, and a Troy. Which potentially gives us a 1 to 3 loss season.

JJ is just more of the same

Lee is feast or famine

It just goes to show that we need a QB coach. Why Miles hired a freaking TE coach and not a QB coach is baffling. Crowton is a shitty QB coach (and a shitty offensive coordinator, and a shitty playcaller), I didn't see anything out of Jefferson that made me think he was improved. But I seriously thought Lee looked much improved, especially when he played with the first team offense, except for that pick 6.

Crowton is the only reason why I'm not more confident in the 2010 team.

It pisses me off to no end to have 3 5 star WR's and still no QB who can consistently get them the ball downfield.

I like everything Lee offers from a passing standpoint, but his picks are killer. Jefferson seems to have peaked as a passer to some extent.

You are right "feast or famine" vs "frustratingly inept".

in a fricking spring scrimmage. Yes what resiliency he showed today

the same game jefferson played in. lee looked more poised. he threw the ball away, he got away a couple of time from the rush, he more deliberate in his fakes and his mechanic are far better than jefferson. I do have a bad feeling about the position going into next season, but i think lee is the better of the two right now this whole spring. if we can run the ball, and simplify our passing plays i think we will be okay

I must have bee watching a different practice because in the one I saw both QB's threw a pick... so to say one should not play because of that is beyond stupid.

And the one JL threw was actually more on the receiver as I saw it. The rush forced a quick throw and Lee made pretty accurately but the receiver didn't react quickly enough and the ball went through his hands to Loston who made a play. Lee was much more in sync with the receivers yesterday than JJ. Hopefully JJ just had an off day and finds his game this summer. If not, Lee could reclaim the throne IMO.
