A giant bonfire the night before a big game is awesome.

But half you douchebags look down on anything someone else does.

They really don't have any idea how un-admirable and weird they are. They define cultish. Those tell leaders and overall outfits are horrible

Back in the day when you could legally drink at 18, Aggies would have yell practice at Pat O’Brien’s

I don't particularly like the yell thing, but traditions are what make college football great. Each school has their own. And the A&M yell is a very unique tradition.

So I'm all for it. Let them do their thing.

And then beat the hell out of them on the field.

I've never understood what this means.

So you're saying a fan base that embraces a long-standing tradition is "cultish?"

If that's true, then every college fanbase in the country is cultish. Including us.

The problem is that they didn't admit women until after their "traditions" had been established.

It's basically practice at following their yell leaders cues/signals.

I tell you one thing, I am amazed at how well organized and effective it is.

We can get 90k doing our thing without practice. But, if we practiced we'd turn it into a shite show. The practice itself would be a drunken brawl that would just carry over into the game. We're better off without it.

Somehow they put it together and make it work. Then somehow we make it work without every trying. Guess it says something about the cultural difference.

good lord, is that the standard by which we judge other school's traditions? Quite a stretch.

I asked...

Ever go to an A&M game in College Station?
Clearly, the answer is no.

I stated my opinion based on my experience
quote:

It's very cultish.
...that help you with the meaning? I haven't been on the board long but long enough to understand subpar reading comprehension is the norm.

Try this: go experience a game in College Station and tell me A&M isn't just a little bit "different." Until you look at the evidence and can offer an informed response, you're not just some internet jackass with an emotional disorder replying to my post.
