Ok so what? Do you want the answer or do you want to just bitch? I go to 1-2 games a year for about 30 years now. I went to LSU. I follow every sport. I stay the whole game. How bout you?

A&M-Missouri game started at 11AM, it was 85 over there with a heat index of 90 (in the shade numbers)

The LSU-UCLA game started at 2:30pm at 95 with a heat index of 100 (in the shade) where reports said that the heat on the field was 130

There were a ton of empty seats when the game started. It’s a top 10 game and aTm was doing well. Their fan base is in general more dedicated than ours and they have a ton more alumni

You mean like when saban broke it straight to the bama fans? And he was talking about a small school game.

Eta: and I also added pricing for the lower income rowdy crowd that used to attend faithfully.

But please enlighten us. Why you think lsu attendance sucks unless it’s alabama or a top 5-10 team in town?

You want the real answer? The die hards were priced out years ago.

So you’re going with the argument that LSU fans are poor. Because you certainly can’t believe TAMU games are cheaper than LSU games.

look at the UGA game. It is a rivalry game and there are tons of empty seats in the second half all over where people left.

I have dated four Aggie girls after moving to Texas out of college, including my wife. One girl I dated was high maintenance and her brother would always call her a 2%er. Apparently, she would leave games early and people in the stands would give her crap for leaving. I think it’s the whole 12th Man thing that keeps people in the stands. My wife won’t leave no matter what the score is at the time. The kids and I had a blast in 2019.

Maybe sometimes, but that 2018 game at atm, their stadium was at best half full at the end of it. And that is being generous. So they definitely leave early sometimes, even in games that are close.

Compared to most other schools. LSU has sucked since about 2010.

I don’t need an excuse…this was the situation during the UCLA game and we stayed to the end. Felt sorry for the east side, though!

As I was watching this game I commented on how empty it was. Look at the start of the second half, rows and rows of empty seats even right behind the players. The seats are painted to make it look full when it’s actually not.

LSU fans always talking shite about how great they are how great the stadium is how great the fans are. But in the last five years or so, Tiger stadium is a shell of its former self, and the fans are a bunch of pussies.
