would the Cotton Bowl want A&M since the Aggies already played Arkansas at the Death Star earlier this year?

But it does not say that LSU is going to the Cotton. I am hearing Cap One to play Michigan State from inside the athletic building.

Capc One selects first so the Cotton can hope for LSU all they want, but they don't get to decide.

I still think Cap 1 may choose Alabama over LSU, since Alabama are defending National Champs, travel well, and LSU was there last year. Plus the bad experience last year (weather/field conditions) many LSU fans may choose to stay home. But this is just pure speculation on my part. I certainly won't complain - but I can make the trip to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl, Cap 1 not likely.

Hearing rumblings from A&M insider that LSU is "confirmed opponent but under wraps." Not sure how reliable this is...

After that disaster last year, no one wants to go back to Orlando

Bad deal, we lost to a team we were much better than...our athletes were "stuck in the mud"

If you go to the Cotton Bowl will you go back in eight months for the opening game of the 2011 season? Be honest...

YES!

I also went to the SECCG in Atlanta (2005) and less than a month later went back there for the Peach Bowl.

It amazes me that the cap one bowl is so highly regarded as a bowl destination when in reality the area around the stadium sucks and the stadium itself sucks.

Cotton should and soon will be more highly regarded, ie part of the bcs rotation.

And for other comparison...Outback is in an awesome stadium in tampa.

Gator at least is in nfl stadium in jacksonville.

Hell, peach bowl is in the ga dome.

What the hell does the cap one stadium host besides high school games? The sheer fact of the pathetic field condition last year alone should have knocked it down a couple notches.

Oh, that's right - they pay the most $$$.

Outsiede of $$$, the supposed top teams outside the bcs from the big 11 and sec deserve better. I'd absolutely prefer the cotton.
