I don't really care. I actually hope he plays and is 100%, so if LSU does win their won't be any excuses. But from everything I have read the last week about head injuries as severe as the one tebow had I hope wiser heads prevail and they hold him out. One I don't want to see any player die on the field. I also wouldn't want to see LSU anywhere involved in such a incident.

From Gainesville: It wasn't great to be a Gator last night in loss to LSU!

First let me say...I like Tebow and wish him a recovery....and WANT him to play...because I want to beat you guys at your best.

Having said this....if he plays.....it's just plain stupid on UF's part

Yeah, he's definately a tough guy, but John Wayne eventually died. Tebow would be out of his mind to step on that field on Saturday.

That is sad and selfish of the UF program. Pathetic really
Look...know one wants to see the kid get hurt...but if he reponds to all tests and is cleared by Doctors he will play. He is John Wayne tough dude...tough. I think your just compassionate for your OWN hopes and reasons.

Not only pathetic, but unnecessary. This is not a "must win" game for the Gayters- We just beat Georgia. Your must win game is the SEC championship.

I'd love to see Teblow play, but I think its a meathead mistake to play him so early.

I think you underestimate the severity of concussions... it doesn't matter how tough he is, if he gets another one after two weeks, he could die. I hope Urban doesn't want to risk a kid's life to win a football game.

"The night time magic at Death Valley lifts #4 LSU past #1 Florida 24-21"

BATON ROUGE, LA- All week long these Tigers have heard that they have no chance to upend top ranked Florida. The truth is there is some magic down in the bayou on a saturday night, crazy things happen when the sun sets to the west. LSU is 22-0 under Les Miles when the sun has set and the ligths are on at Tiger Stadium. Sophomore Quarterback Jordan Jefferson completed 20-31 passes for 298 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Senior Runningback Charles Scott rushes the ball 18 times for 135 yards and 1 touchdown to help lift the Tigers over Florida with a last second field goal. continued page 3B

Ok Ok>>> if Brantley plays the healines read: Gators 28-13 ( instead of 36-13) 'Brantley immpressive throwing for 270 yards! who knew UF had recievers!' Fixed it

If the SEC title > NC, then yes (and I would be inclined to agree). BUT, there is no guarantee UF would get back into the top 2, even with an SEC title. If you want a NC, every game is a "must win", and if you can win a NC with a loss (or 2), it is due to circumstances beyond your control.

Yes you will. If ya'll let Tebow do what makes him Tebow, then ya'll will kill his career. Him playing fullback is over this season. This is a health concern.

And it's the kind of quarterback Tebow is that make it even more dangerous to play him.

I realize that every game is important, but if the Gators play the back up, even if they lose to LSU, they go to the SEC championship. If they win there, they have a legitimate shot at NC. If he plays on Staurday, it's for Florida's ego only. A very dangerous risk on Florida's behalf.

I hope he doesn't play on Saturday and not because I'm an LSU fan, but because I'm a college football fan.

I just think it is ridiculous that Florida tried to say he didn't lose consciousness.

A truly sad commentary on the state of UF football and its fans. Tebows life and well being are not worth playing in this game. If for no other than UF football self serving interest he should not play. UF will be very competitive with Brantley after two weeks to prep for LSU. Even if UF loses without Tebow, keeping him out one more week will increase their odds of having him for the rest of the season. One Tebowless loss will not hurt them in the long run. IF LSU wins the west the rematch in the SEC champ game would be one for the ages. I bet the damn media would have a fricking heart attach over that game.
