Anybody have recommendations for a good breakfast/brunch place downtown on Saturday?

People on the WVU board have said either Mario's Fish Bowl or Blue Moose Cafe for breakfast. If you don't want to go downtown for breakfast I would recommend Tudor's Biscuit World...just make sure you take your cholesterol medicine first.

Sidewalks all the way. I made this map for something else, but it applies here. The Coliseum is in blue and your walk would be the red line to the Blue Lot by the stadium

excellent...thanks!

would you think walking is the way to go or is there a better way?...

Where can I find the pizza rolls and place with everclear margaritas?

You might be talking about the margaritas at 'Los Mariachis'? Pretty close to the stadium, too. They don't have a website, but there are some reviews on Yelp

Be careful in Morgantown fellas. WVU fans are vicious. The guys posting in this thread are the exception, not the norm.

True West Virginians will welcome you guys theres not a doubt in my mind. Any douchebags you guys may unfortunately encounter will probably be students from NJ that look like Pauly D.

Thanks everybody for keeping this thread going.

Anybody know around what time the free parking lot by the Coliseum typically fills up?

I am seeing that no open fires are allowed on university property written in a number of places....is grilling not allowed while tailgating?.....

If you would rather walk that would be fine. The shuttle only runs 3 hour prior to kickoff from the Coliseum.

People will be grilling all over the place. I've seen both gas and charcoal grills, so you should be fine.

Vicious to who?

Universities who are incapable of finding their own head coaches?

Yeah, I would say that qualifies.

There is usually ample parking at the Coliseum, but a press release was put out this evening saying that due to the number of RV's expected this weekend that parking will be more limited than usual. If you can't find parking at the Coliseum there are places along Patteson Drive and others where you can park for a fee.

Just wanted to say I really appreciate the WV fans in this thread. You've been really helpful.

I do have another question. What's the traffic like getting out of Morgantown after the game? I'm driving back to DC afterwards and was wondering what time I should expect to get home. If traffic is a nightmare, I'll probably just drive an hour and find a hotel or something. TIA

Traffic in Morgantown is a nightmare 24/7. It's a small town with big town traffic. After games is bad but better than you would expect because they change traffic patterns and have cops at every intersection.

Know a guy that lived in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Orlando, and Morgantown and he said our traffic was by far the worst.

As to getting out of town on gameday, it all depends where you park and how well you know the streets to get out

What is the best bar area to go to Friday night. Maybe with a live rock type band, or any band for that matter. We're in coliseum parking area.

if you're looking for rock on a friday night de lazy lizard on high street usually has bands in on the weekend, chicken bonez may also have a band playing, which is just off of high street.

I want to try and grab a six pack or a growler of a local red ale. Any suggestions?
