wait a minute cajun, I'm from WV. are you accusing us of having trains up here?
to be fair, wv was once riddled with train lines to get to old mining towns in order to get the coal out... we might have the most mile of train track per square mile, but none of its in use. so he actually does have a point, and damnit nothing gets me off more than some sister porkin down at the old train depot, thats just good old fashioned family fun there.

People on our site were thinking, jerry west, brad paisley or bob huggins. Although if they could get a green screen and do cletus from the simpsons that would be damn near amazing.

Coopers has some beautiful and easy trails... my absolute favorite is just across the interstate from the main section of coopers rock.... it's a virgin hemlock forest (meaning this was a protected area from logging way back so the trees are hundreds of years old) and the trail is very easy, and follows along a solid sedimentary rock stream bed...
Clay run is another beautiful trail and its relatively easy which is located from the main entrance to the park.
you can read more about them here
here are some pics of the two trails as well:
Virgin Hemlock Trail
Clay Run Trail:
Clay Run Trail 2:
however, first off, before hiking anything, i recommend the overlook at coopers. The clay run trail will be fairly easy to navigate from that side of the park but if you want to try the virgin hemlock trail just be wary that the entrance to the trail is not very well marked and its across the interstate from the main park, so you have to really watch for it, the approximate entrance to the trail is on the map below.

Any Tiger fans plan on congregating at a bar by the stadium prior to game time? For those of us that have to fly in and can't bring the appropriate tailgating setup.
not too many bars close to the stadium, keglers is close, damons isnt far, never been in either of those places though for pregame so I have no idea what the crowds would be like, if you're looking for a bar pregame, you might have better luck getting a group together downtown, somewhere on High street, as the rest of the city will be by the stadium tailgating. when it gets close to kickoff you can just ride the prt (from either the beechurst or walnut st stations) to the medical station. the prt is free on weekends and will run for an hour after the game is over on saturday night. heres a map of downtown for ya.

we began arguing because of a statement you made about an inferiority complex, i know in your old age it gets hard to keep up so here you go:

Thank you for confirming you really are just as dense as I thought. It may be of help to you to put on your reading glasses or let your children post for you in the future, they may still be coherent enough to follow a conversation. Although being your kin I doubt it.
re: Anyone else's WVU tickets from our ticket office look sketchy?
Posted by MountainBEERs on 9/21/11 at 4:36 pm to Ryneaux
Our ticket office doesnt scan general seating tickets as you pass through the gates, thus no barcode and amazing 1995 graphics. They do scan however, student tickets, bizzare I know.
Our ticket office is the worst.
heres what our tix look like:

hit a nerve? yup, these internets are serious business...
backing off of what? My last like 5 posts to you have been trying to explain what we're arguing about, and you just refuse to acknowledge that fan behavior was never part of the argument to begin with, honestly you cant be this dense? that or you're trolling, in which case, congrats and good work, cuz you got me.

keep telling yourself this dstone and keep ignoring the fact that we werent arguing over fan behavior to begin with. Forget that i readily admitted in my very first post in this thread to what you are claiming took three pages to get out of me. anyone who actually reads this thread, thats now just garbage between yourself and me, can confirm the way this ridiculous argument went down. You sit here and talk about reading, when i very much think you lack the necessary comprehension skills to communicate yourself there buddy.
again, and now its very apparent that you havent, you can go ahead and look at all my other posts before you came in here and see I didnt come here looking to start a freaking internet fight, cuz that shits about as cool as aids.
but yup, old timer, you win, if it makes you feel better.

where do all these spare couches even come from? I mean if i burnt my couch, i wouldnt have anywhere in the living room to sit.
its not all couches, most of the stuff getting burned is just cheap/old furniture that sit out on students porches in the sunnyside area of morgantown.

How's this for inferiority.
You dipshit. You can't stop can you?
You should know after one arse-kicking, whom your big bro is.
Im not quite sure you understand the argument we were having but here... ill lay it out for you.
1. you said oliver luck has an inferiority complex.
2. i refuted
3. some name calling
4. you somehow think you win an argument we werent having in the first place
5. you edit posts accordingly
6. you point out a wvu fan with a need for validation and think that somehow validates your original statement that oliver luck has said inferiority complex.

lets see who started it all...
oh i also noticed you edited your post about the wv-ecu game after i called you out on that as well.
but keep on keepin on, ya old bastard.

okay Mountain"BEERS", you're right, there is no reason........except for the 'bad sportsmanship, that you finally admitted to.'
Of course, bringing up the butt-pirate term was extra classy.
I can't believe it took you this long to finally admit that your school (and obviously, you) have a bit of a fan problem.
Take care.
uhhh okay? take that as a win I guess? we were arguing about an inferiority complex, which you have shut up about since you realized what you were arguing made no sense... i freely admitted in my first post in this thread before you jumped in here with your douchiness that wv has some bad apples.
but okay, yay for dstone, dont forgot to take your dementia pills!

How did this tradition start??
i dont think anyone except for some old timers would know... I think it started back in the 60's or 70's.
scholars maintain that the true time frame for this tradition was lost decades ago.

Hey.....idiot, did you just just say that?
I thought y'all were perfect, but then you say BAD SPORTSMANSHIP came on BOTH sides.
You are a total fool.
What an idiot!
quote where i said we were perfect? far from it if you read my original post in the thread.
And nope, dont ever go to other boards looking to pick a fricking e-fight, but if you come into every single thread trashing my school for no reason, im going to defend it. I came here to read your side, offered up some advice in the travel thread, and tried to give a reasonable expectation for fans in morgantown and then you come along like super-douche so i defended my school. check my post history if you'd like, but im sure you wont, you'd rather keep on believing what you want to believe.

Not once has he addressed the fact that VTEch won't play there anymore.
The pure evasion of facts makes you a douche
yup, wont play anymore, the bad blood and bad sportsmanship came from both sides though dstone here will have you believe wvu was the only one at fault for this.

However, ECU beat Pat White, last time I looked.
yup ecu is as prestigious as they come.

here you go dipshit.
by the way, do you know what paraphrasing means....no
assuming you are talking about an inferiority complex and not just the word, because that wouldn't make sense, how is that in any way an evocation of an inferiority complex? do you know what that is? do you realize that he's addressing the rumors flying about yesterday that involved wvu and expansion? being denied, not being denied etc? he's saying its sad that within the confines of wvu football rather than focusing on the actual game of football people are talking expansion, dollar signs and rumors?
but i mean if you want to argue the definition of a word because you're a jackass thats fine, the game talk has taken a backseat to expansion, therefore it is lower on the totem pole of what is being discussed in the media, there by being, i guess in your twisted and moronic view, inferior.
but saying its sad that this is what is being discussed over an actual game of football does not evoke any thoughts of an inferiority complex, you dolt.

Paraphrasing from Oliver Luck:
"Saturday is the biggest day in WVU football, and ESPN is talking about conference expansion."
link? what? where did that come from, thats a lie. even if it wasnt made up its the truth, from our end, all the talk is expansion when we should be focusing on our next football opponent.
you know whats funny? when you google ecu fans, it autocorrects you for TCU fans.
you know what else is funny?
this letter from the ecu chancellor to ecu fans.
LINK
furthermore, ive only ever seen like tops, 1000 ecu fans in morgantown when you all come, nobody harrasses you there because youve never beat us in morgantown, we dont care about you.
run along now, back to being a butt-pirate.
