Instead of celebrating 2 programs who’ve never been there before, record viewership and a decent product displayed Sunday, a bunch of men are bitching about women being classless for doing the same thing men do in every sport every single week.

The mental gymnastics to vilify Reese is overboard. I’m not a fan of the gesture she made, but Clark did her share of trash talk including telling a Louisville player to shut up because her team was behind by 15 with just over 3 minutes left, and not a peep from the media other than to praise her as tough-minded and competitive. It’s time to stop the handwringing and gnashing of teeth and move on. And I am a boomer.

The pearl-clutching over last couple of days makes me think about the scene in A League Of Their Own when the suit from the league office tells the players that "every girl is going to be a lady". All these dudes want to send our team to etiquette school and probably make them wear uniforms with skirts.
