I'm about as patient as they come when it comes to baseball. But, I have zero patience for throwing away a conference game when your record is 3-8.

I don’t think you can simply judge based on this result. I think now, it’s more about competing for championships then it is winning them. Just so much parity in college baseball now.

In a short term I agree. In the long term, isn't that the goal? Championships?

And what coach gives us the best chance to win 'em?

I don't think I'm expressing an unreasonable view.

And I agree with you, I think there's a lot of great young talent on this team. Still hoping we make a run of some sort.

I was okay with the lineup. I was not okay with the pitchers who came in after Hasty got out of his inning. That was seriously head scratching.

I still don’t understand why Braden Doughty entered the ball game

I think with Gio’s soft tissue injury it’s not a bad idea to get him a day off, he’s been sprinting hard a good bit the last few games

Travinski didn’t play because he wanted the better defensive guy with the whole staff approach (which is fricking loathe btw)

Biggest mistake was not starting Hellmers. The other two are not that far fetched.

Even if you're gonna bring in Doughty to catch, you still don't let him bat. You pinch hit Drost or Travinski then let Doughty catch. The game was way too close for that shite.

which might make some sense until he PH Braden Doughty for Milazzo in the 7th.

why would you even bring him in to catch?

we haven't won a natty since '09. That's too long

That’s the bottom line. It should be unacceptable at a program that has accomplished what LSU has.

This is the opposite of the typical approach. Defense for low scoring games. Offense of it’s a shootout. However, Travinski is also coming off injury and hasn’t caught 3 days in a row yet.

I was also okay starting Money after how he looked vs Vandy. Nothing wrong with throwing him a bone after that performance. But after he came out? B Doughty??

The moves mid game were idiotic.

CPM doesn't sound all that different now than when he started here. He's always been pretty frank about players.

Spurrier used to call out his players in public and whined. Danny Wuerffel said after being criticized, 'I'd rather play for a coach that demands excellence than one who tolerates mediocrity.'

And I have no idea where he used to sit in the dugout (I mean, is that supposed to be like a topic in interviews?).

This is all just deflection from legitimate criticism.

I don't think he should have. I'm simply saying that even in that idiotic move, it's even dumber to let him bat in that situation if the plan was to let him catch the next inning.

You’ve had multiple people who have followed the program for years say they have never heard PM sound the way he does now.

You haven’t seen the image/gif/video of him sitting in the back of the Tennessee dugout for multiple innings with his dead down? You think that’s normal?

I agree. I mean we got decent talent and alot of the guys are young and should no doubt progress as hopefully more talented youngsters join the team but yeh something has GOT to happen between now and next season. (not to give up on this year but I mean c'mon).

It was 5-1 and we put up 2 innings of 5 or more runs twice in the weekend. The game wasn't remotely over if we had Hellmers or Hilliard on the mound. Morgan hits a HR after Doughty bats and it was 5-3. It was still a close game.
