If we really want to be an elite program, we gotta stop with this "I'll be happy to win 10 games" attitude. This is the attitude that programs like Arkansas, SCar, Ole Miss, and Kentucky have. Those teams will never be elite and their fans know it.

I mean, look at Bama. They've only lost 1 regular season game the last two years, and they want to bench their starting QB. Some say it is crazy for them to think that, but the reality is that they are not content to just continue the way they are going (which is pretty damn good). Bama fans will consider this season a failure unless they win the NC. LSU fans should as well.

People say that firing Miles will cause us to have a couple of bad seasons. So what? I'd rather go 0-12, 0-12, 14-0 than 10-2, 10-2, 10-2. If Les does not give us a good shot at the NC every year, he has to go. Period.

BS. We should compete for the SEC west every year. WE should win teh SEC West every 3-4 years no matter what. Anything more that happens is gravey.

The metric I usually like to go by is whether or not LSU is still in the hunt for an SECCG appearance in November. If not, it's usually an unsuccessful season, although there are some exceptions depending on expectations.

Yeah, cuz if we act like them, our team will start playing better.

I agree 100%. Take note of those who don't. They are the real problem with the fanbase and why LSU has always settled for mediocrity.

I don't even think there should be a national championship game. Screw the NC. Football is a regional sport, and up to the college level that's the way it should stay. We play to win the SEC, we play to win the West. If you don't get enough excitement through the SEC season, maybe you should watch a different sport.

The 80s called. They want your quote back. College football is no longer even close to being a "regional sport" and hasn't been for some time now.

I dont think a 10-2 season is always a success, but it can be. Imo, a season is a success if we win the west or make it to a BCS bowl. Playing for the SEC championship is always a successful year. That being said, I dont consider a 10 win season with no BCS bowl/SEC championship game a failure, its just a decent year. All in all, if we go undefeated, we will play for a BCS bowl thus making this season a success

These players are just kids. Only one out of 130+ teams is going to win the MNC. If that is your standard, you will always be dissappointed.
