sorry,

back on topic. when you're 100+ in the offensive rankings just about anybody looks good but I agree that the guy at boise sticks out.

I do like what crowton does on offense. It looks good on paper. we just aren't executing it. Maybe it will pick back up next year.

Why does everyone want an OC that will run the spread? Whats wrong with a power running game like we had with Saban and the NC with Miles??

I don't think everyone wants a spread offense. We just want a better one. And there are a lot of good OC'c out there producing numbers consistently. Miles should go after one. This post is about who you think that should be?

When we picked up Crowton his numbers were dropping. And what do we see now? His numbers dropping every year. So let's get a guy that show consistency and scores.

I think opportunistic and innovative young coaches who want to be OC's will take pause knowing that Miles will be their mentor when considering a job at LSU.

Paul Johnson's offense is one of the best in the country and only averages 40 yards per game less passing than Crowton's. Read that again.

Stud is gonna be the OC, and we get a QB coach.

Why not hire Coach Jag for HC and he can assist OC, which should not be Crowton.

Also this guy -> Dana Holgorsen. OC at University of Houston. He was OC at TT and has been a QB coach and recruiter. He is running a good offense too. I just think we can go after some of these younger guys who are having success at smaller schools. They would jump at the chance I am sure.

this guy is making a name for himself quickly...and the guy from Boise St..

what does this mean? johnson's specialty is the triple option, so why would his passing stats be above avg?
