I rather we recruit for needs than for stars. There are a lot of teams that get ranked high every year for recruiting and they just to finish because they didnt't recruit to the team. They recruited for stars.

I live in Wa so I obviously am surrounded by UW fans and hear all the talk. I also happen to be forced to watch a lot of UW football. The one thing I will say is don't underestimate Coach Sarkisian. He is smart and competitive. They got beat by us at home and will be looking for some revenge.

Dont forget that he also hired Justin Wilcox who is a good DC. They also have a possible Heisman candidate in Keith Price. They are a good team. We will not put 50 on them.

I said in another post and I'll say it again. People need to quit worrying about where we rank in a recruiting class. OP hit the nail on the head. LSU is recruiting for specific needs and not to amass stars and "elite" recruiting rankings.
UT recruits for stars and has a top 5 class consistently. Worked out well for them the last 2 years...

One bet we had was to play one on one basketball and the winner would take his ball sweat and wipe it across the losers forehead. Sick right? we were teenagers, it was humiliating, and it made you REALLY not want to lose. It was funny for the spectators.

Now if i went up and wiped my ball sweat on a random dudes head I would expect to get an serious arse whooping. As an adult I would expect to get an arse whooping or go to jail for assault. Same action - different scenario and different results...

Agreed. UT is typically in the top 5 in recruiting and look how they have done the last 2 years. Honestly, who gives a shite about the recruiting rankings.

You recruit for what you need, not for how many stars you can amass. I trust the LSU recruiting staff to get what this team needs to win. End of story.

My wife is a lawyer (and former prosecuter) in WA state. She said you pretty much have no choice. The crime is there. You prosecute. That's how it works. Especially sexual assault or battery. I can't imagine the criminal laws in LA are much different.

Just because he thought it was funny doesn't mean he didnt commit a serious crime. I bet that passed out guy didn't think it was funny. Wierd how that works. Victims not thinking a crime is funny...

I'm sure its old news and I'm going to get flamed, but I just ran across this on YouTube. She is pretty entertaining. If you have not seen it - LSU women's soccer goalie Mo Isom does her version of Shaq Vs. She takes on Shep, Mett, Claborne and some others in sports challenges. Pretty funny stuff.
