Hilton ain’t a starter until he proved he can stay healthy

No more of this “ Mr. show up in the last two meaningless games” bullshite
Dude I don't know why you're still allowed here. You suck as a poster and fan. Hilton will show up and show out this coming season.

Huh? The kid showed a super high ceiling as a true freshmen

Let's calm down a little bit. He completed 54% of his passes and had negative rushing yards. This isn't Jayden Daniels.

He was a true freshmen in the SEC are you hearing yourself lol. Jayden Daniels wasn’t Jayden Daniels until he came go LSU and even here it took him his 2nd year here and his 5th overall year in college to hit his stride but you’re ready to write a true freshmen off? Some of the takes ppl have on this site are fricking idiotic

No one besides Lamar has the wheels Daniels does, but Daniels wasn't some all world player at ASU either.

He was a 5 star QB out of high school

I don't think that's true but it's irrelevant.

So you think he's "probably" going to be the starter in 2025? You'd bet money on that vs the field of unknown 2026 transfers?

He may start. I'd say it's much more likely that Nuss has a great year, goes in the first round and Kelly hitches his wagon to one of several high end proven QBs that will line up to be the next LSU starter. I think it will be a Cam Ward level transfer.

I'm not penciling him in as a future starter. He'll have success somewhere, but I'd doubt it's at LSU who will have their pick of several big time QBs once Nuss is gone.

Imagine LSU lining up with 4 WR and 1 TE and you are trying to defend

A. Anderson
N. Anderson
C. Hilton
B. Brown
T. Green

This might be the deepest WR room we've ever had, because you still have Parker, Thomas, Watkins, and Billiot all waiting in the wings.

Nuss will have plenty of weapons to sling the ball all over.

'd doubt that. He's a depth piece and expect them to bring in a high end transfer next offseason. MVB could develop and become starter quality, but that's far from probable at this poin

You are really clueless about Van Buren arent you??

If we lose Nuss, Van Buren could step right in and would be ready. He faced the best SEC teams last year after having to be thrown in to the wolves because of Miss st first String guy getting hurt. He did very well in his first season

He has an unbeliveable touch on the ball and throws a deep ball like Jayden. Also ,can run if needed.

We will really get to see what Sloan is made of this season & how creative he can get with all the talent at WR. It will be interesting to see how he uses Durham & Harlem Berry in the pass game as well.
