It still burns. Seems like every damn thing reminds me of the game. Definitely doesn't sting as much as it use to.

I'm still not over it because, I honestly thought Mile's had finally gotten it. Now I am completely unsure of him and his decision making. I hate Bama and that little frick of a weasel arse coach and until we meet on the field and we kick their arse they own us and that pisses me the frick off.

no, but i've started to worry about what miles will do at qb next year? esp after he signed liggins.

He only signed Liggins because Kiel's mom didn't want her boy to attend school that far from home in Indiana.

Does Miles really know what he wants to do on offense?

He has 2 "Drop back pro style passers" in Mett/Rivers and 2 "Running/struggle to pass" QB's in Randall/Liggins.

NOT a fan of inserting "Change of Pace" QB's into the game. Destroys offensive continuity. Let the freaking RB's carry the football.

Many decades will go by before this BCS game is forgotten, and even then all of us who watched will never forget--only the younger ones who weren't there will not know. But it will be there still, deep within the timbers of our ship. Our coach made some horrible mistakes, mistakes a high school coach would not make. While he made our program proud during the season--this game was just shameful. We are left only with a burning desire for revenge, and a disturbing sense that coach might make the same mistakes all over again.

I used to be a mainstay on the SEC rant, but can't now because I cannot fathom looking at pictures from that game that the gumps use as their avatars.

Which will mostly go away this November when they suffer their worst loss in years at Tiger Stadium. That will be righteous.

We could be Patriots fans and have lost the game twice in a row now to the same team.

Sure they were competitive but that doesn't get you Superbowl ring.

0 points or 17, you still LOSE.

It's not that we lost. Not even competing was the problem. We have a coach that quit and would not pull his favorite son. I have never been a fan of Miles and I thought he had finally surrounded himself with good enough asst. coaches crap like Jan. 9th would never happen again. I was wrong. Miles has always done dumb crap this year it just happened to be the NCG!!!

For me personally, (and we all have our own opinions and emotions), I am over it. I stepped back and looked at the overall picture, put the one game in context, the context of a 13-0 season(SEC Champs) and quit over why the JJ/JL situation was handled the way it was. I look forward to the season ahead and it worked for me...

I think like many that we had a great year. However a rotten apple can spoil the barrel and we had a really rotten apple to deal with.

Being there ... and dealing with the Red People idiots face to face. I doubt I will ever forget it. My opinion of Miles (I was a supporter) will never be the same. As good a coach as he can be, he can be a train wreck waiting to happen ... too bad, he lost a lot of creditablity that night.

I was over it the next day. 13-1 SEC Champs is nothing to upset about. There are lots of teams that would have loved to be in LSU position even losing the game.

After all it's just a game and life is too short to still be upset.

Now on to Baseball!!!

No. It usually takes me about 30 minutes after a game to move on, win or lose.

It was much faster after this game. Nothing will put things into perspective faster than a Bama fan with his middle finger in your face cursing you out, while his wife cheers him on. I actually laughed about it and moved on pretty quick.

It is a game. I didn't lose a friend or a relative.

Had LSU been completive and lost I think (not sure) I would feel better but the way we lost (never really in the game and some players never seeing the field are if they did it was very little) the answer is yes. There are too many unanswered questions except for hints from former players and unofficial insinuations from people close to the program.

In my heart I now feel bad toward coaches I once respected. I'm working on that and belive I'll be OK by the time football kicks off again.

This. I have absolutely no confidence that next year will be different than the mistake-ridden seasons of the past.
