My breakdown: auburn sucks. Jordan-Hare blows. Tigahs by 20.

LSU scored 37 points in first quarter, just 2 weeks ago!!!
"Oh but that's Southern"
Its a game on LSU schedule and they didn't start slow so your post is shite. Now carry on.

If auburn I would wish for 30 carries for tank.

Do you remember who our coach was for that game?

I don’t care how Auburn has looked up to that point. That game is never easy. Don’t chalk it up as a W until it actually happens.
Wouldn’t be shocked if we lost. Wouldn’t be shocked if we blew them out. It’s a weird game like always.
Exactly.
LSU 19, Auburn 16
Last second FG.
It's going to be that scary close.

We didn’t start slow last night, either. We moved the ball just fine. We just had trouble with penalties costing us a couple of TDs and had the missed FG.

Throw anything you thought you knew out the window. It's LSU at Auburn. Best team that night wins.
Auburn is terrible. We will find out Saturday where we stand in the pack.

I’m pretty sure Bo Nix was coated in astro glide for that game.

I’m very very pleased with how well our tackling has improved this season.

Actually based on wacky game history of these two it would be hard not to take Auburn +7.5 at home.

Go watch the 2012 game and see how Auburn faired the rest of the season. Or 2006, 2014, 2016, 2020. Every single one of those games Auburn over performed against us at Auburn.

this could definitely be a weather type game that auburn could muck up
They have the run game to make it difficult on LSU and LSU strength is not the oline and run game

It's been nearly a year and those 4th down conversions still piss me off.

Tried so hard to lose yesterday
Missouri gave that game away 3 times with 0:03 secs left plus OT. They gift wrapped it and put a bow on it.
1. with 0:03 secs in regulation Missou missed a 26 yd FG to win.
2. Barns first possession in OT they missed a FG but a dlman jumped offsides. 2nd fg was good.
3. Missouri OT possession RB had the winning TD but when reaching the ball over the goaline (which he didn't need to do) he lost control of the ball inches from the goaline and Auburn recovered for the touch back and win.

If Auburn has any talent on defense this will be a tight low scoring game. They are at home, at night, rivalry game, and they are back in a corner with their coach about to be fired. I would love to blow them out but we have started slow on offense every game so far which can be tough to over come on the road.
Yep. I wouldn't touch the LSU (-7.5) line. LSU looks like an improved team since the opener vs. FSU. While Auburn has been very unimpressive. That said, this will be the first road game for LSU in what is always a very underrated home venue. It also can't be overlooked that in the two games LSU has played against teams with even a remotely similar talent level, the offense was largely ineffective for 3/4ths of the game.
I'm confident LSU's defense has improved enough since the opener to keep an, at best, disjointed Auburn offense at bay throughout the game. The question is whether LSU's offense is truly improving along somewhat the same trajectory? Or is the offensive "success" largely the result of games vs. far inferior talent?

Who was Auburns QB in 2012 that almost went to LSU? Auburn was god awful in 2012; LSU was really good, and Auburn had the ball last with a chance to win the game. Of course it was played at JHS.

Do not take Auburn lightly. The Barners will be pumped for a big SECW home game.

Apparently no one good. I think it was something Frazier. Not positive

If auburn scores more than ten that means our d played bad compared to their ability.
Auburn is as bad as they’ve ever been
