Yeah, well I hate to tell you but he actually sucked that day and cost us a win. Lowly Max would’ve won that day.

Idk how many times you want me to say this, you asked me to give you an example of when Nuss went through his reads and progressions, and that's exactly what I did

Need to see it against a pass rush. Hopefully he's grown and improved a lot since last season (logic says he has). We'll see.

The season can't start soon enough.

This is false, CBK has already came out and said that getting their starter the most reps with the 1's and getting him prepared is what's important. He said he's not trying to hide anything from anybody

Yeah tbf that was just a hail mary guess
I think the reason is because nuss has put up a fight

This is what makes him a problem at a powerhouse school. Sure, at Texas Tech or A&M this might yield the upset of the year, but at schools vying for championships this is what derails seasons. He needs to break this tendency to be the guy at LSU.

So you really feel that QB's like Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, RGIII & Johnny Manziel couldn't have won & won big at LSU? Did we not witness Burrow move around & buy time with his feet to make big play after big play in 2019?

Look man you asked me to give you an example so that's what I did. Can you give me an example of Daniels hitting his 3rd or 4th read? Nuss is without a doubt the better passer and I don't think you can argue otherwise at this point

Please tell me you are not comparing Nuss to Burrow Im equal game on both, but Im not going to come on here white knighting for any QB over another. BK is a smart man, let him do his job. #trustthealignment

He can sit in the pocket, go through his progressions, and hit his 3rd or 4th read, I haven't seen Daniels do that

We haven’t seen Nuss do it either.

If you honestly believe that Daniels is just as good or better than Nuss at passing, then why hasn't CBK named Daniels the yet?

I mean you can ask the same thing about Nuss.

If he’s so much better, why hasn’t he been named the starter?

Not well liked? Where does this come from?

They didn't go to his birthday party last year. Your the starting qb and not even your offensive lineman go to your birthday party? Something is very wrong there.

You gave an example in a game that would have been embarrassing by Les Miles standard.

You can go through Daniels’ games and find examples here and there when he went through this progressions and made great reads and great throws. So what?

This is beyond even cherry picking.

No one is comparing Nuss to Burrow. Nuss is Nuss & Burrow is Burrow. What I am comparing are similarities between the two that people have used praise Burrow along with giving credit to his development since high school yet in this thread alone, those same characteristics & aspects are being used as a negative towards Nuss.

Too many idiots take comparing characteristics or other aspects between two players as saying the comparisons are meant to suggest that those players are equal. Immediately that's what your dumbass brain went to.

The truth is Burrow was praised & rightfully so, for having a dad who was a college defensive coordinator that helped aided in his growth & development with his football IQ & ability to read defenses. While on the other hand, you posted that as a negative against Nuss because his dad is a former NFL QB, college offensive coordinator & NFL QB coach. Do you realize how dumb that sounds? Try listening to Nuss' interview from today where he discussed his dad not coaching him up but rather just piggybacking off the the things the staff are teaching him.

The other comparable aspect is their ability to move, buy time while still looking for the big play downfield. That is what made Burrow great. No one is saying Nuss will be as great as Burrow but anyone who has followed Nuss since he was being recruited, understands that is a huge part of his game. That type of ability can be the difference between winning & losing in a big, close SEC game.

Daniels has much more starting experience and I think CBK values that a lot. I think that’s why Nuss hasn’t been named the starter yet, but he will be next week. Daniels can throw a nice deep ball, but that’s about it. Going through your reads and throwing the ball down field accurately is what is important and that’s why Nuss will be named the starter

I respect your opinion,
But there are reports out there in practice that Jayden has looked better as a passer overall, and there are clips out there showing him hitting receivers for like 15-20 yards over the middle
If your going to use the media to justify your Nuss claim, then you must understand that the same media is saying that Jayden looks better as well.
Practice report for yesterday
quote:

A major takeaway has been how sharp Daniels is looking. He’s clearly been working on his release, with a much cleaner look. The seasoned veteran has shown tremendous growth from spring camp to now.

The above quote is directly from this article.
If you use the media to justify Nuss starting, then you also have to use the media to understand that Jayden has improved as well.
