A bowl win and a top 3 recruting class

Would be a huge turnaround from where the program was just weeks ago and a great way to set up the 2016 season.

Just a few weeks before that we looked like a BCS team and had the #1 recruiting class. Sooo

I wonder if another 3-4 losses to SEC West teams will have everyone cheering for Les Miles next year. He is a nice guy, afterall.

LSU has had top recruiting classes the last few years and it all amounts to playing in the fricking Texas bowl. People need to stop getting excited about recruiting rankings because the product on the field isn't elite like it should be

We still do have a great shot at the #1 class, no better or worse chances than a few weeks ago.
Win the bowl game, lock down the class, get key juniors back, keep Raymond from the U, fire Peveto and Ball, hire Curtis Johnson, and I'll actually be very happy. Ideally Cameron walks too, but I have no hope that happens. As consolation Curtis Johnson and a competent ST coach will do.

While I agree with you to extent, you're not paying attention to the recruiting class LSU is assembling. If it finishes as expected it has to be the most athletic class LSU has signed in a very long time.

All I care about is the recruiting class. A top three class would reignite my enthusiasm for next season.

I'm happy about a good recruiting class and all, but I've become pretty much numb to it. Every year LSU seems to pull a good to great class with lots of fanfare, but then we see the same crappy product on the field. I just wish our staff's coaching ability was comparable to their recruiting prowess.
