easily win both games

Lost to Auburn and Florida in 06 and Bama was better than both of those so I wouldn't say he would easily win both.

and LSU was better than the 2006 team IMO. We didn't have a running back emerge until the end of the season and we had trouble run blocking.

Les Miles lost the 2006 Auburn game, JR wouldn't have the 2 fatasses getting the ball 20+ times

Mauck lost to a bad Florida team, Flynn lost to a bad Arkansas team and an average Kentucky team

of that list, I think the only ones we lose with are Jefferson, Randal, Booty, and (maybe) Rohan

Any justification for this? JR was better than Mauck in every conceivable way

Yeah right. UTenn was awesome and just as talented with John Henderson, Albert Haynesworth, Jabari Greer, Will Overstreet, Will Allen, ect. That team was awesome defensively.

Rohan beat them twice.

no he didn't. Mauck beat them in 2001.

In 2000, they didn't have a very good defense

and neither defense compared to 2011 Alabama

This accurate?

Move Mauck and Rohan into the WIN category, Lee and Booty possibly into the MAYBE category. Only sure losses are JJ and Randall.

Talented maybe, but the numbers don't jive.
2000 UT held one team to single digits (ULM) and gave up 20 or more points 7 times.
2001 UT held 3 teams to single digits (Syracuse, Arkansas and Vandy) and gave up over 21 points 6 different times.

2011 Bama held 8 opponents to single digits (if you count LSU twice) and one opponent scored over 20 on them (GA-Southern).

You're hanging the Auburn loss on Jamarcus? He was 20/35, for 269 yards, no INTs and he took a single sack. He also rushed 4 times for 15 yards, leading the team with a 3.5 average.

He threw 3 interceptions against Florida, so maybe that one's fair.

Anybody thinks he would have been a liability rather than an asset on January 9th, 2012 is crazier than hell.

Regardless if you put a QB on this years team that throws for what Rohan did per game nobody even is close to beating LSU.

Never mind that, how about a defensive game plan by Chavis, or at least some adjustments at halftime? It looked like we were playing Boise State or BYU - in the first half especially.

But it looked like we had prepared for Trent Richardson left, Trent Richardson right, Trent Richardson on third down.

Also, how about Wing kicking a 60 yard kick 8 feet off the ground for Maze to return???

As far as QB, how about some blocking?
How about some downfield passing? Look-in to OB3,
misdirection pass in the flat to Peterson, bubble screen to Shepard, slant to Boone, post to Randle?

And how about, after a great intermediate completion to OB3 on the sideline on a rollout, how about NOT JJ just standing in the pocket like a loiterer for half an hour on the very next play and getting sacked for a 50 yard loss ??????

Flynn has been made into this good qb on this site when JJ in 09 had a higher qb rating than Flynn did in 07. Rohan was a far better qb than flynn

I still can't get over the hate people have for this guy. He was a legit threat at QB, he changes their entire defensive gameplan.

He also threw the ball seven yards shy of the endzone as time expired.

We matched up as well with those teams, as this year's team matched up with Bama.

Anyone that blames JR for the Auburn loss doesn't know football. He played a great game and was our only plus on that day. The play calling was shite. All year we couldn't run the ball for shite and they ran it up the middle all day almost. Till we had to throw
