Like I said, if we played a tough schedule then you'd be correct. But considering that our 9 wins were against awful teams, there's not much to brag about.

And what kind of man calls another a twatwaffle?

Everyone of us had our team at 9 - 3 for the regular season, so we should all be proud of what we have done this year and get ready for a great 2009.

Can anyone tell me (in the past 15 years) who the last SEC Champion was that started a True or Red-Shirt QB.

Just read about this exact same point last month. It was Grossman in 2000.

He's right.

9-3 is not a mediocre season. If we finish with 9 or 10 wins, we should finish in the top 15. Great...absolutely not. But very respectful, and it would be a good season overall. We can't/won't win the national title every year.

+1. the same people who are satisfied with 4 loses and say that we came along way since being happy to go to shreveport are the same people who try to spin the saban had 4 loses and try to claim miles was a better coach.

We are going to beat everyone on the schedule we should beat. We took a number 1 team to the wire.

If Lee had another year of seasoning or RP was in uniform LSU would probably be right in the hunt for the BCSCG again.

When is the last RS FR QB to come in and lead a team to an SEC or National Title game?

It just doesn't happen, our fanbase needs to temper expectations with some realism. It's not fair to expect our 2008 squad, with that glaring defeciency of experience at the QB position, to compete for the title this year.

If we can pull 10-3 out of our arse with a bowl win, this season is going to be a success in my opinion. If you can't take LSU having an "off year" and winning 10 games, you should really reevaluate your expectations for the program.

There was a time when 9 or 10 wins was an impossible dream. When it was a real argument as to whether LSU or Miss State was, in fact, the worst team in the SEC West.

If we get to 9-3 and we're pretty much secured a top 15 finish...out of 100+ FBS teams or so. That is, in no way, shape, or form, a mediocre season. And I called you a twatwaffle, because you are, I regret to inform you, acting like a twatwaffle. Good day to you, sir.

before the season started and after RP was dismissed everyone here said they would be happy with a 9-3 season, and that they even expected it. funny how when it actually started to happen you would have thought we are on par with moo state or somebody. 9-3 with a freshman qb is a great year.

I said, weeks ago, 9-3 going into our bowl game and we should be happy with that. And I stand by it. The future is bright.

Great season? We have beaten no one. Tulane, North Texas, bla bla bla If we had to play any OOC games that were decent we would have 5 losses. The record is an indication of the extremely weak OOC schedule we have.
