Jefferswag was better than AJ by a longshot, and that's saying something. Two worst QB's I have ever seen at LSU.

It boggles my mind that we do not go after pro-style QB's only. It is the only QB type that compliments our pro-style offense. We are so strong at running the ball out of the backfield there is no need for a running QB, just a mobile guy that can scramble if needed but looks to pass first.

I will never understand why we recruit dual threat when it doesn't fit our offensive scheme and only a small fraction of dual threat QB's can actually pass well.

JJ made plays in the Peach Bowl, which was his first start. He was limited by throwing ability and brain ultimately, but had some athletic abilities.
AJ made plays against Arkansas last year

You wanna compare JJ's sophomore season with AJ's sophomore's season?

Considering the talent of the offensive line and running game, I am confident to say AJ is the least successful QB in the last 15 years of SEC football

This team would have only 1 loss with JJ as a QB......

It is clear that Harris should be the QB against Arkansas and aTm. Get him some more experience against SEC opponents. Doesn't matter how bad he is because he can't be worse than AJ. The season in effectively over for us, no reason not to play him.

Against Aubie he was worse statistically than all but one of AJ's games.

This is true. He was awful in that game. Even more reason to get him more experience against SEC opponents.

True frosh, first SEC start against top 5 team on road. Yeah it was bad, but no reason to not give him another look

I am amazed by fans who have tangible evidence to prove he is not the better QB, but want him to start because they have some gut feeling.

The proof is in black and white, it sucks that Jennings is our best option, but there is nothing other than "flashes" and belief that Harris will be better

Yes but it is relative. Going from 110 passing yards to 95 isnt that big of a deal. I think it is safe to say with the emergence of the run game it is basically impossible to be less effective then AJ. Unless Harris would come in and just throw to the other team on purpose

There's not another team in the country with the talent we have year and year out with as bad QB's as we have. It's laughable at this point

By your reasoning our "best option" would be to run the wildcat with Magee at QB.

AJ is clearly not anything close to a "best option" for any SEC team.

If a person tells you you have to eat what is in your right or left hand, and you know a turd is in your left hand, and you arent sure if your right hand is a turd or a burger, which hand are you picking?

We don't that he is better. We do have tangible evidence that AJ is absolutely terrible to below average in every game he has ever started which is now 11 games. One game started for Harris, which was terrible, 5 weeks ago. Time to see if he has improved.

Yes…I remember watching him. And I have the advanced motor skills and cognitive ability to forget one bad game and evaluate his body of work.

I remember 4733 passing yards. I remember 34 TD passes and 12 rushing TD. I remember him completing right at 60% of his passes.

I remember a ball that he threw to Randle in one of the Alabama games in Tiger Stadium. I cheered loudly. I bet you did too.

Dislike the guy if you want…..piss and moan about the 21-0 if you want….just don't imply that he was the worst QB ever to play at LSU.

I am confused by the reasoning. I am being told he needs playing time to get better, but he hasn't gotten any and he is now better.
