I understand being pissed about that play. But unless PP stayed in bounds and ran it back, the likelihood of LSU's O scoring was not good.

Disagree. LSU had momentum at that point in the game. Scott had just come out with an injury and Ridley was running wild.

The point is that it was blatantly obvious and LSU should have had the chance to win per the rules of the game. Do we start taking away drives now based on whether someone thinks a team has a chance or not?

As blatant as this round of cheating was, that's not even the play that bothers me most from that game.

LSU had a lead until Jordan Jefferson was speared and taken out the game.

There is a pic of Ritter staring at the play and he doesn't call it.

Jefferson is removed and slowly but surely Bama comes back (block in the back on the Jones TD while PP was out with cramps, etc).

So many other calls that game where an obvious facemask wasn't called.

I get that things will be slanted, but as I've said here a million times: when the SEC compromises the safety of the players to tilt the field, that's scary.
