Both coaches said the same thing in their post game press conferences. But of course they’re both lying I’m sure.

watching it right now, when asked about the delay he also said “if I could control the weather LSU would never lose a baseball game, I promise you that.”

What does that even mean?

I’m guessing he misspoke but I don’t even know what he could’ve meant to say

Because LSU has never lost a game that was delayed by weather

LSU’s regional had the longest delay of any regional. We had about 12 minutes of a drizzle at 5:30 PM. Other sites had actual thunderstorms pass through and yet they had their two games completed quicker than the Baton Rouge Regional.

And yet you continue to act like it was the coaches decision to not play for 5 hours. It was not.

I agree that the delay was ridiculous. But it was pouring literally just across the river yesterday afternoon.

I don't buy it. In 2023 with the same head coach we had a 5 hour sun delay.

Other regionals play ball. The LSU regional worries about a 20% chance of rain 2 hours after first pitch and delays for several hours.

It ain't the NCAA that is the constant. It's the LSU region in the last 3 years.

I would assume it means if he had the ability and power to control the weather, coaching an undefeated baseball program would be a walk in the park in comparison.

Just stop, Jay isn’t lying about the delay. What’s done is done. Let’s focus on what’s in front of us vs what’s behind us

You can think whatever you want. Jay was not happy about the constant delays yesterday.
