How many points against Auburn do you think were given up because of QB play? You could have brought back any LSU QB in history and he wouldn't have come up with 6 touchdowns.

I don't think 20/36 for 341, 2 TD, 1 INT is bad QB play against Miss. St.

This. If I had the time, I'd drudge up all the talk in the offseason about EVERYBODY pretty much agreeing that we'd run the ball a hell of a lot. Some predicted less than 2000 passing yards and 15 TDs. We are already at 1700 yards and 14 TDs.

AJ will throw fire 40 percent and 2 picks with 85 yds for the win. He is getting better and will manage us to victory!

Sarcasm? I'll take it if it results in victory. In fact, I don't care if he throws a dozen int's if we win.

More seriously, we have enough talent to beat anyone. And this team is playing really well now. I know we put ourselves in a bind but from Auburn on I could hardly be prouder of the Tigers. This team has shown toughness, resolve, improvement, etc

I am pumped. We can still win it all. Let that sink in. Need some help but everything we need is very reasonable.

I think 200 yards and 150 passing will beat the gumps. I don't think 4 turnovers will, but I don't think they do that again.

i'll go out on a limb and say 10 points won't be enough to beat alabama

would anyone disagree?

JJ beat bama, and he was worse than that.

Sorry buddy, but in the regular season against Bama, JJ did what he needed to do, Lee was the one that sucked arse against Bama.

Regular Season
Lee had 7 ints against Bama, JJ had zero

3 games
JJ 26/40 (65%) 322 yards (8.07 ypa) 2 TDs, 25 car 86 yards (2.9 ypc)

4 games
Lee 27/58 (41.3%) 316 yards (5.45 ypa) 1 TD 7 ints

Even if I added in the mulligan bowl, JJ still fares better.

Screw throwing the ball. Let's just keep shoving it up everyone's arse because no one can stop it.

95 yards.. In 12 plays... All runs.

LSU can't run over Ole Miss they said. Ole Miss only gives up 97 ypg on the ground they said. LSU Wil have to pass and open up the offense to win they said.

Why should we continue to listen to anything they say?

Anyone notice the two nice screens to Magee? First one was textbook, and it extended our opening drive (and planted some hesitance in the Ole Miss line). Second one was diagnosed by Ole Miss, but Jennings and Magee were able to adjust and make it a short (6-8 yd) completion.
This simple play addition to the gameplan, run well, can fix a whole lot of problems on the offense.

If we run all over bama like we did ole miss it won't matter. Not sure that'll be possible, but I'm hoping. Jennings is getting better though. Little bit at a time, but he's improving.

that was the game plan against ole miss. no one said that would be our game plan against bama. why don't we wait and see.

true that. I'm sure the coaches also realize we are not going to be successful just trying to ground and pound Bama. They have to much size and strength in the front seven. If we can't back there safeties out of the box also, we will be in trouble.

Because Jennings current state of play is not sufficient to win a championship in 2015.

So why do you believe he will never be better than he is right now? There is no fact behind it at all. This team right now with average QB play (60% 200 yards 1.5 TDs) will win us a championship. There is no 2011 Bama defense anywhere in CFB. We played pretty much the best defense of the BCS era, twice in one season.

MSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn will be looking for offensive pieces as well as Bama. LSU will retain all their WRs, a QB with a year of experience, and possibly the best RB in 2015. The defense will again be stout.

I believe Jennings can become a pretty good QB. He won't blow you away with his talent, but I think if he can get better. Both QBs can get better. I'm pretty sure Harris will win out in the spring, and lead us to crazy LSU record setting offensive output. Thing is, Both QBs, under the tutelage of Cam, will be able to lead us to a championship, because of the type of offense we run, and the fact that we pride ourselves on strong defense.

I expect us to run well on Bama until they 'over-compensate' to stop the run. If we can pick-up on that, execute some passes, we should score some points.
