Sickening

Not buying her story.

You are a fricked up human being if you are “kidding” like that with an old woman. And the people who would play it off as kidding are sick too.

The fact that no news station and no attorney would take her story tends to make me believe there were some inconsistencies or issues with it.
Yep.

It seems like an odd thing to fabricate...what would the point be?
It's true though, that we only have 1 side of the story. I'd like to hear from LSU on their perspective as well as why the Advocate and Times Picayune decided not to pick up the story...I can only assume that it'd be hard to publish something just based on her word alone and no other witnesses...

Julie O'Donoghue also live tweeted out the testimony:

So the police and attorneys thought no law was broken. They may be right for all I know but this definitely looks terrible in the light of day.

"Yes" - Scott says
She says she asked Coach O to remove Derrius Guice from Citrus Bowl. He refused but said Guice would apologize to her. She didn't want an apology. #lalege #lagov

Yup.
Coach, Segar and Ausberry all need to be asked if they actually talked to the lady and what they said.

That's a big assumption.

signs of the times I'm afraid.
Either
(A) He wasn't kidding and into some kinky stuff OR
(B) was totally messing with her, but doing it in a very crude, dis-respectful way, that all kids seem to talk like now days.
Either/or... she thought she could profit from his mistake. However, the fact that NO attorney would take the case says ALOT given the litigious state of Louisiana.

Seems strange that no one would take her account more seriously.
It makes me question if the victim is somewhat exaggerating what went down to get some sort of a payday?
Guice is clearly immature (among other things) and very well may have been kidding. I don't agree with joking this way with anyone, but especially such an elderly person. I can definitely see how coaches would believe this was a ridiculous joke.
The problem is that Guice is nuts, so this doesn't help.
I mean at least multiple coaches allegedly contacted her on his behalf to offer have him apologize directly with her. It's not like they completely dismissed her. Did she decline that? What I find interesting is she wanted Guice to sit the bowl game?

More like police got bigger fish to fry and attorney didn't think there was enough money in it.

Maybe. This is a little different than suing Dollar General over a slip and fall.

Not taking up for him at all but this just seems weird to me
The cops ignore her, the coach blows her off & she’s concerned if he plays in a football game?
Just odd to me

This woman’s testimony is pretty in-line with what has come out over the last few months, I’m not having a hard time buying it. LSU needs an enema.

But I doubt we are going to find any paper trail showing LSU properly handled this. Not at all hard to believe (given all that Husch Blackwell dug up) that Coach O, Segar and Ausberry all did their best to get crazy old lady to forgive, forget and go away.
Handled what? Sexual harassment is not a criminal offense. I'm all for punishing the privileged college athlete but ultimately this was a college kid making a crude statement. If any other college kid said this at a bar, it would be laughed off. Do I have recourse against others who have told me this? Can I get them in trouble at work? Get them criminally charged? File a civil suit? frick no I can't. This is getting blown up because of Guice's other actions and the Miles investigation.
The part about her being scared of the NOPD is laughable. The NOPD didn't give a shite about Guice and she didn't need to be "scared for her life." This lady is writing a melodrama in her head.

Also, no 74 year old woman should be having to work security. What exactly is she going to do besides call someone if something happens?

I mean I have no idea if the touching himself part is true, but what exactly can be done about a young idiot making a stupid statement like that?
I don't understand what more she wants now. Other than try to make the school look bad for not granting her request. They reached out and offered her an apology and asked her to forgive him. She doesn't have to accept that, but I don't fault them for playing him in what I am assuming was his last game?
Guice is currently paying for his sins.
