I don't understand how some people can be so cold. This could be your kid going thru this. Hell, you could be going thru it.

Again, it ain't like Unglesby's gonna be any cheaper.
Frankly, I'm a little surprised that if they were gonna make a change, they didn't go w/ somebody a little lower profile than Unglesby.
That was meant to be more tongue and cheek. I also think the fact is that, like I said, Fisher effed things up by publicly stating in the media that he was working for the players pro bono. He's a complete dumbass for not just doing it, but then openly talking about it, particularly when LSU is on probation.
Doesn't sound like the brightest lawyer to me.

Didn't Unglesby represent Stephen Edwards? Dude served some time. Just sayin'! I'm sure he will represent JJ well.

From what I'm told, Fisher is pushing for a guilty plea bargin deal. Johns and Jefferson are refusing and don't want a deal. Johns got a new lawyer yesterday. Jefferson saw what he was doing and went to get his own.

that's getting a bit much ahead IMO unless I don't know something (sarcasm please get it)
who knows if the DA will even attempt to get this to stick

Did Unglesby resign from the Victoria Gosserand Dream Team to take this case instead?

Maybe some of you will make a mistake in your life and there will be people there to ruin it.
And before you say that you won't, I'm sure JJ wasnt think that either.

This is an asinine statement. You presuppose that because he is a specialist and expert in the field of criminal defense that he also knows the convoluted NCAA regulations handbook by heart as well?
I can tell you a lot about certain portions of RE law but I don't know much about tax law, mergers & acquisitions, criminal law, admiralty or any other of a number of specialties.
That is like saying Dr. James Andrews should know everything about how to cure brain cancer because he's the best sports medicine around.

I feel bad for Jefferson's family, but there is some hipocracy in acting like people are heartless for not feeling bad for JJ. What about the guy that has two broken vertebrae. I have seen very little concern for him here, and instead have seen all of the supposed victims vilified by the majority of posters.
If JJ did kick this guy in the face while he laid on the ground unconscious, JJ deserves no sympathy IMHO.
If he is innocent of all of these charges, then I have tremendous sympathy for him.

Somebody is mad he has been wrong for a week.
It's ok cadello, it will all work out.
I really hate to see you keep knighting for JJ like he is a victim in all of this.
He is a liar, PROVEN, this week.
If he had made better choices, he would still be the starting qb of the LSU tigers.
