Incredible

Average of 4 TDs a game passing, every game, even against a bunch of top 10 teams

People actually thought Clemson was gonna win the NC game. Lol Did they not see what the frick had happened all season long that started with spring of last year where they wiped out the defense in every practice like Delpit or one of them said, they averaged like 7 tds against them every scrimmage. Lol Then they just go out and assault every team on the schedule except for Auburn, and they should have done them in too, but they just left a lot of points out there from unlikely mistakes that they made in an off game for them, shite, it happens.

but they just owned everybody that they played this past season, offensively, as Burrow and co. put up these historic numbers.

You want a chuckle, look up LSU's Top 10 single game passing yardage leaders.

If you really want to laugh, look up LSU's single season receiving TD's.

1. Chase
2. Jefferson
3. Marshall

It's really insane. Can't even do that in Madden.

yep, Marshall's count alone broke Bowe's record and that's with him being out, what, six games?

An overlooked benefit of the huge and historic numbers and remarkable season is I’ll forever be able to just say “2019” in response to any SEC fan (or any NCAA football fan for that matter) shite talking

With all their due respect, It's funny to see how quickly all the other LSU NC QBs that came before him are now essentially an afterthought following that remarkable season.

In the 4 years before Burrow 2014-17 we only had a total of 59 TD passes. For that matter, he could have started over as soon as he broke our season passing TD record, started over and broke the old record again.

If Miles Brennan can throw for half of the td's that Burrow threw for last season, then I'm pretty sure it'll be successful year. I know we all hope for 15-0 and another national championship, but being realistic, I think a 10 or 11 win season is outstanding.

frick u, I was at the GA Southern game and said in the stands that this team will win the National Championship without a doubt in my mind... I could see Joe raising the Heisman and playoff trophy from game 1. And I'm not just talking shite, I told everybody in my family that after game 1... so I fully enjoyed every game feeling confident as frick that we win every game when our Tigers took the field!

Everything this man iust typed is bullshite, NONE and I repeat NONE of you could predicted how well this team would preform and underaged not even close finish, all the awards they would receive and all the records they would break. You may have saw a great team coming together early and wished they could finish strong, nothing like we saw at the end could have been predicted.

Of course it can happen again! We got the right coach now. Believe!!! Alabama did it with different QBs and Saban. Put more faith in Coach O and let’s see the boys give him another big win!

THey Did our whole history bordered on really good at times but never consistently elite. Now we, LSU, are considered by everybody outside gumpvile as having the Greatest season of all time.

And to think, a lot of knotheads on this site were ready to run O outta here on a rail when he was hired and then Troy.

Y’all need to stop comparing and start uplifting Brennan! Of course he’s not Burrows, but that don’t mean he can’t be the best QB in college football this year. Man, some of y’all ain’t even give a chance before you saying NEVER again. Keep thinking that way and that’s the way it will be. The fans need to support ALL THE WAY!!!!

This may sound strange but I’m not ready for spring practice and next season because I don’t want to “wake up” from this real dream.
