Is this 2016?
This is a top 10 matchup against a big rival with our QB on a better Heisman trajectory than anything we've ever seen. I somehow doubt this.
We'll see. Most people (as seen even on this board) talk about how much better it is to watch from home. Especially when conditions are anything less than perfect.

Down to 47% at game time and lower after that. Should be fine.
We probably won't know for sure what the weather will be until Friday. Apparently there are conflicting models. One shows the front passing through on Friday night and clearing out by Saturday afternoon. The other model shows the front stalling out which leads to several days of rain.

The models have been all over the place. Some show a high in the 60's and sunshine while other show a wash out. We honestly won't really know until Friday.

“Most people“ on this board are not most LSU fans though.
I remember being a student in 2007 (different era, I know) when #12 South Carolina came in. It was wet and there was great turn out for the game. I hope there will be similar turnout.
As you said though, we’ll see. I’m coming from Texas and the weather hasn’t deterred me one bit.

Rain hurts a wide open spread passing offense for sure. Let's hope it's gone by game time.

Not anymore
Both models show the rain being gone by noon
Weatherbug shows sunshine at 1pm

Weather underground now shows 40% of very light rain at 2 and ending by 3 with temps in the upper 60’s.

Looks like it's going to be gone well before the game starts. By game time darksky is only showing a 9% chance. Looks like most of the "sure thing" rain is going to be on Friday night.
I think rain, other than an absolute deluge, is overrated as to how much it affects passing. The receivers know where they are going, the DBs don't and probably have a better chance of slipping. Wind is a bigger concern to me: looks like it's supposed to be about 11mph out of the west during the game.
